  1. The house was quiet in the way that only Saturday mornings can be—that particular stillness that comes from everyone sleeping in, from no alarms, no schedules, no demands. Jason had woken early, as he always did, his internal clock still calibrated to a world where sleeping too deeply meant danger. He'd lain in bed for a while, listening to Peter's soft breathing beside him, feeling the warm weight of his boyfriend's arm across his chest. But his bladder had eventually won, and he'd slipped out

    Chapter 1

I've been doing a few one off stories, shorts and things... just to get the creative juices flowing.
  5. Those two are chasing each other around town. I thought it was amusing to have them in each other's house trying to act casual and totally smooth.
  6. He is beginning to see the danger, but he doesn't have the big picture, yet. The question is, will he find it in time before the trap closes on Jason.

I'm pretty sure the cappuccino machine doesn't run on butane.
  8. This is my favourite, as people can tell I think. I love a good thriller, challenging and interesting to write... they push my imagination and test skill. I love how engaged the readers of Thrillers are, they question, they encourage, and they bite their nails along with the characters. Thank you for reading, we (the writers) love it.

    Chapter 5

Lucas is far too enthusiastic.... and if Andy had ANY clue what a Twitch Streamer was, he'd have been prepared. So really, it's Andy's fault.
  11. The heavy glass doors of Heritage Furnishings closed with a definitive, muffled thud, sealing away the smell of polished mahogany and leather for the night. Arthur leaned his forehead against the cool glass for a fraction of a second, letting out a breath that clouded the pane. It was late, far later than a Tuesday night had any right to be, and the mall was a cavernous, echoing ghost town. The polished tiles reflected the sparse security lighting, creating long, stretching shadows that made the
  12. When a blizzard traps Arthur and the mall's chaotic security guard Flip in a dark, freezing apartment, they expect a night of awkward small talk. What they don't expect is the electric tension that's been building across the concourse for months—or the discovery that Flip's not as straight as he thought. Two days of forced proximity, instant coffee, and improvised fires spark something neither can ignore. But when the snow stops, Flip has a choice: walk away, or risk everything for the man who made him feel seen for the first time.

    Chapter 5

05 The morning sun was aggressively, offensively optimistic. It streamed through the Cooper family kitchen windows in bright, judgmental shafts, illuminating the mundane domesticity of suburban life. The air smelled of burnt toast, artificial maple syrup, and the faint, citrus hum of a refrigerator that had been running since before Andy was turned. Andy sat rigidly at the small wooden table, his posture an exercise in aristocratic tension. His pale, perfectly manicured hand
  16. My person is deeply religious, so when writing Jason I talked to him about it. I don't really get it, God and I have lines we don't cross and I prefer it that way. My person, however, has found religion (CoE) to be a great comfort. So in my research here I needed to look at Jason's journey and used that as the basis for it. I don't think religion itself is the problem, I am firmly of the belief it is far too exploitable by bad actors who seek control over others. The moment someone climbs to a pulpit to spout hate instead of love, that's when it crosses the line.
  17. I view her as a convenient way to reach into the school to get to Jason.
  18. I use AI to edit only. I was making a joke about Hughie from Vega Vixen.
  19. Oh, the implication was that Will was back at Andrew's Condo waiting for him to get back from his errand. Implying that they are still sleeping together
  20. Hughie had to come from somewhere Good morning
  21. Across the city the next day, in the sterile fluorescent quiet of Birchmount Park Collegiate, Jason Jensen was trying very hard to be invisible. It wasn't working. The problem with being invisible, he'd learned, was that it required a certain baseline of normalcy. If you were just another kid in jeans and a hoodie, you could fade into the background, become part of the scenery. But Jason wasn't normal. Jason was the new kid who'd shown up halfway through the semester with no expl
  22. ooo we did Chess Metaphors in the order books, kinda neat doing card ones for a change. You know Jared's playing Go Fish, right?
  23. Merrick is circling and taking his time. He knows about the history from the valley, and he is looking for the softest target to strike. He does not know Peter, and he completely misreads Andrew. So our good guys have a few cards held close to their chests.
