  1. Funny you should say that, I have a couple of stories in the works about bad boys brought kicking into the good guys side by quirky smiles, batted eyelashes, and roguish smiles. Nerds win! :: does the Warren Dance::
  2. As ever, (I swear I sound like a parrot, but I do mean it) Thanks to the Readers Without your effort, enjoyment, comments, reviews and recommendations this wouldn't be as fulfilling as it is to do. You're the fuel in our warp cores. Thank you, sincerely, for reading. And remember GREMLIN demands SNACKS and more REVIEWING!
  3. This is the last of these little Vignettes Tomorrow is something new. Please recommend, review, etc, it all helps
  4. Good Morning Warren Strikes Back
  5. Ch04 Warren getting a real job should have been a triumph. After years of sweeping nacho cheese dust and getting yelled at by teenagers at the 7/11, he had finally stumbled his way into a legitimate career. He was selling luxury imported cars at a dealership two towns over. It turned out that Warren’s total inability to read standard social cues, combined with his earnest, weird, encyclopedic knowledge of engine specifications, made him an accidental, highly effective salesman. Peop
  6. Honestly one of the most difficult pieces I have ever written I was up ridiculously early this morning doing a near full rewrite of this chapter to get it right. I didn't have it right the first go around. It's some times like that. It takes a few tries to get it to work.
  7. I am fairly certain Doctor Raines has it on her top priority list. I am fairly certain Duclose will be unable to practice after she's done with him.
  8. Or got it delivered. Though I am not sure Warren wants Axl Fraser stopping by.
  9. Archer wants it hidden, but he's also a father. I am picturing his sheer alarm at realizing WHO Tyler had sex with was his primary motivator, not that Tyler was gay. His coldness to his son, the fury over the lapses in judgement, the onlyfans... The fact that he cares enough to pick Caleb up and drive him home, not once, but repeatedly... He maybe a poor father, but there is some responsibility there, and (love isn't the right word) care? Archer grew more interesting as I rewrote this chapter. More rounded and more compelling in his motivations. Diana has backstabbed all the men in her life. Her current husband (Grace's father), Richard (her ex husband), Archer, and Caleb. It's almost pathological at this point.
  10. Thanks to @drpaladin for his, as ever, great support.
  11. Thoughts, and prayers
  12. it all became clear
  13. TUESDAY MORNING The Grey Harbor Psychiatric Hospital lobby smelled like bleach and hopelessness. Richard Holloway had been standing at the front desk for four minutes. The receptionist had told him to wait. She had not told him why. She had not looked at him since she'd said it. Her fingers clicked against the keyboard, typing something that was probably not urgent, probably just a performance of busyness to make him feel smaller. He was a tall man, but he'd learned to make
  14. It's such a silly, Boyfriend thing to do isn't it? I once got scolded over eating cheese My person and I don't live together, he's got his own house... thankfully, worked for ten years.
  15. For newer readers: My Merrickville stories are a collection of slightly humerous, slightly off kilter love stories set in Merrickville Ontario Canada. They're all individual stories, with interconnected characters. If you're looking for something lighter, and fluffy.
  16. Tom's so done for. Besides who wouldn't want a life-sized Space Marine in their living room?
  17. Heresy Detected. Good Morning
  18. Merrickville is fundamentally not equipped for a heatwave. The entire country, including the miserable, dead-end town of Merrickville, is architecturally designed to retain warmth and repel dampness. When the calendar flipped to July, exactly one year after the catastrophic, miraculous circus of my sister’s wedding, a high-pressure system parked itself directly over our county and simply refused to leave. The asphalt outside my apartment window had been slowly baking for three straight weeks, ra

    Prologue

Billy is going to quickly learn that keeping Wesley happy is going to be very expensive.

    Prologue

Billy won't let Wesley have one, says they don't even have a pool. (Pretty sure it's because Billy doesn't like competition)
  21. These are a series of vignettes that show how Warren loves Tom. I wanted to try to get a good slice of their life together. How the relationship grows from stupid teenagers through to something more mature. As stated, Tom's view of himself is abjectly wrong, and Warren proves it to him.
  22. awwwww now I'm going to have fuzzy dreams of Ferrari's, Hawaiian shirts, and furry abs....
