Good point. Cecil (who you will meet in a future book) has very strong opinions on who should date whom, and the Great Lord of Darkness will not be denied. Unless it's Mister Binkie, in which case, Mr. Binkie is free to make his own choices. *SQUEAK*
Tyler and Charlie are very much not into each other, to the point of actively disliking the idea. So no, no throuple. Still, this mess will take a couple of books to sort out.
Charlie is very much into his Tweed-adjacent quasi Boyfriend type thing in his old body. and with the pink mist turning the hormones up to 11, they're in sticky trouble.
Chapter Eight: The Resistance
Dawn broke over Leamington Spa like a bad hangover—reluctant, grey, and deeply apologetic.
Taine had been awake for hours. He'd watched the pink dome glow through his window all night, imagining Tyler on the other side of it, trapped with a goddess who wanted him for breeding stock. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw Tyler's face in that last moment—desperate, afraid, but still shouting for Taine to save the others.

Note: I am in Coventry today for surgery, so I set the next chapter on a timer (I have never had much luck with them working properly for me, so if there is a mistake I will get to it when I am home)
No it's a me thing, I am old, sleepy, and distracted and miscounted chapters... I was rereading this chapter and thinking to myself "This isn't right, this isn't how this book ends... (Bear in mind I wrote this Last summer and the nature of my writing means I tend to forget some of what I have written as I move on rapidly.) And I opened the folder and realized two more chapters were sitting there and... yep... I was senile.
The gravel pit was supposed to show how they are doing this... but I feel you, the chapter does feel a bit out of synch. Nature of flash back sequences in a chapter. I'll try to keep things linear from now on. I was trying something, and it doesn't quite work. Shame.
You're going to laugh at me, but there are two more chapters to this... It is far too early in the morning and I mis counted...
um... ignore the status... next chapter tomorrow :: sheepish look of exhaustion::
I have surgery today so I've been distracted.
Chapter 20: The Break-Up
The first sensation was the taste of blood.
Not real blood, but the phantom metallic tang of it, coating his tongue like a premonition. The second was the silence. It was a physical weight, pressing down on the locked handicap stall, so profound it seemed to swallow the sound of his own ragged breathing and the frantic, rabbit-quick pulse of Ben beside him.
Tim Chen sat on the cold tile floor of the second-floor boys’ bathroom, the Blue Archivist lapt
As ever, thank you for reading my work.
The 'Charlie vs' books are some new work, written more for a good laugh, and I appreciate that they are being enjoyed.
There are two more written and will be added when time slots allow.
Again, thanks!
Taine and the Hartley's are a favoured source of misery/food for Mr. Ellis. He is not about to allow some half-baked Purple haired love witch turned 3rd rate fertility demi-god to ruin his T-bone steak of despair.
It's a bit like Charlie's Angels... whenever the ratings dipper, or Sweeps came up... Bammo Mission to the beach in Bikinis... they knew their audience.
