Kieran never allowed Riley to grow or shine. Ben does. Which is really interesting and something I hadn't considered. Ben is the better partner for Riley of the two because he's not taking advantage and disposing of Riley. It's something I am saving for the next book, I will write another, I just need a break. Have to get Charlie and Pip together properly, need to resolve the "What is Cecil really" question, and of course the 17 enigma. It pretains to Mr. Ellis's grand plan. Which Cecil might not approve of.

Yes Riley is virtually clawing at his own skin by this point. He defines relationships through transactional sex, he understands it. Ben is frustrating because until Riley gets it, he's going to be insecure.
