Saturday morning. Normally, it would be a blessing of a day....getting the chance to start my weekend off and actually get away from the horror of school for a while. But this weekend was tainted. Weighed down by the threat of final exams for the semester. Next week, Tuesday through Friday, with only one school day of review to make sure that we get it all together. I think our teachers are truly looking to sabotage us this time around. Three of my tests aren't even multiple choice. They've

The next school day was one that made me wanna shout, "Thank God, it's Friday!" from the second I crawled out of bed. Even breakfast tastes a little bit better on Fridays, you know? It's like that last long stretch before getting to a very eventful weekend. Even though I wasn't looking forward to final exams starting on Monday, I was anxious to get past them so I could FINALLY race my way to Spring Break! Maybe it's just me...but it seems like this Spring Break has been a few YEARS com

You know, it was supposed to be Ariel bouncing around all day like some kind of weirdo with a big goofy smile on his face all day long...not ME! But for some odd reason, I just couldn't help but be REALLY happy for him. It just felt good to know that he was so blissfully in love with Tyler. Something about that feeling is so contagious, and it made me extremely anxious for the end of he day to come so Ryan and I could run on over to Sam and Matt's for some quiet time after school. It's an addict

Coming back from Cody's house after school, I was flushed with this weird feeling of accomplishment. It was like...I got to know him a little bit better than most people ever get a chance to. I mean, Cody isn't really one to 'open up' to much of anybody. But the fact that he actually shared an honest moment or two with me, talking about his history with Sean and the death of his parents and all...it made me feel really special to be close enough to experience it. Almost blessed, in fact. Especia

CChapter 38: "Fear, Confusion, Worry, and Heartbreak"
Comicality posted new chapter in New Kid In School
I didn't really sleep all that well last night. I don't know why. Maybe because it was the rain storm that swept over us in the middle of the night. It couldn't have lasted too long, but the thunder and lightning was enough to interrupt a good night's sleep. That's for sure. I practically abused my snooze button this morning, waiting until the very LAST minute, where it became a matter of getting out of bed, or missing school altogether. Shit...if I didn't have so much of a conscience...I might- 4 comments

A week had gone past. One of the longest weeks in world history from the feel of it! I swear, it felt like it had been almost a YEAR since the last weekend! But I suppose that's what happens when the time comes to take finals. It's like having the average mild mannered high school test turn angry and morph into the HULK on you. But soon, it'll be all overwith and we can rest easy again. Then...a glorious Spring break! Just two weeks away. Time to get away from school, time to get away from getti

I waited until after dinner to make the call. Ariel was a bit of a homework bug, and he'd be keeping himself pretty locked up until it was all finished, no doubt. Not that he wouldn't drop it for the 'great' Randy Stephens, hehehe! Still, I didn't want to interrupt his train of thought, and called him a bit later on. I heard the phone ring a few times, and Ariel actually picked it up himself this time. "Hello?" "What's up, Ariel? It's me." I answered, and I heard a slight gasp, charging up

I fell asleep next to the phone, hoping to hear Ryan's call and pick up the phone on the first ring. It probably wouldn't have come until late, when his dad was knocked out for the night and out of our hair. But when my eyes opened up to see the morning sunshine coming through my window, I knew that it was a call that he wasn't able to make. For the life of me, I can't understand why Ryan's dad has to be so 'ashamed' of his son being happy. I mean, he was in love, I was in love, we were taking c

I was still finishing my breakfast when Ryan came knocking at my back door before school. I looked up from my bowl of cereal to see his smiling face in the window, and I floated over to open up the door. "Dude...come here. Check this out!" He said. "What?" "Just come here!" He took me by the hand and pulled me outside and around the back to see Tyler standing outside in front of his house. It was a bit early for him to be taking off for school. If he left his house this early he might

The cutest thing about Ryan was his beautiful bright red lips. Mmmmm...they were so incredibly seductive. There isn't a man or woman alive who can look at those lips and not wonder what it would be like to kiss them. I was the only one who actually knew from experience. Sigh...the taste of those lips...wow...it drove me wild. I never got enough. Laying beside him in that small bed in our little love nest down in Matt's basement, both of us completely naked and hard as rocks, Ryan's kiss was enou

Ryan and I sat at Frankies for the first half hour that night, just giggling madly to ourselves and thinking about how apocalyptic it must have been for Ariel and Tyler to have suddenly been thrown into the mix with each other finally with no means of escape. It was enough to keep us smiling for the next ten years at least! Just the looks on their faces when we drove away...it was priceless. Normally, I would have felt really bad about leaving them at the movies like that, but the intentions of

It might have been 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning when I felt it. A strange 'shift' in my senses that somehow came to my attention. I had been sleeping peacefully for a while, even getting used to Wilson's kicks and scratches at my back. I felt just fine. But something gently woke me up before I even opened my eyes. The feeling that I was being watched. Then, right in front of my face, I heard a certain boyish whisper say, "Yeah...it looks cool. So you think he's cute when he sleeps? Yeah, I

It had been TWO whole weeks! Actually, sixteen days! That's MORE than two weeks! And I haven't really had a single opportunity to be...um...'romantic' with my boyfriend. I was ready to burst! I was literally waking up in the middle of the night lately with the desperate need to jerk off. Sigh...just a few more days Randy, that's all. One weekend, and Ryan and I will be able to get together and bang until the walls came tumbling down around us! Don't get me wrong, I loved him, with all my heart,

"Randy, get up. You're gonna be late." My mom said sleepily, tapping loudly on the door. It was one of those happy, sunny mornings where the warmth and comfort of your sheets are just kidnapping you and sedating your senses with the sweet sweet feeling of sleep. I didn't want to get out of bed, not for any reason. And even with the intrusions, I just rolled over and shut my eyes, hoping to enjoy it for only five more minutes. I was just beginning to drift off again when..."Randy!" She said again

I waited for almost three hours that night, three long hours, hoping Ryan would call me and explain exactly why he felt it necessary to suddenly push me out of his bedroom window. I mean, I'm pretty sure his dad wouldn't necessarily approve of our constant sexual romps when he's not there. But he knows that we're a 'couple', so what's the big deal if I'm over there after school? It never bothered him before, not too much anyway. Outside of a few uncomfortable moments, Ryan's dad seemed to be get

A weekend of dancing, cleaning the garage, sweeping, scrubbing, and extensive play of arcade games...no matter what kind of shape you're in...is bound to take its toll on a normal teenage body. I woke up on Monday morning to the annoyingly loud scream of my alarm clock, and even though I'd had about 7 hours of sleep, it only felt like 2 or 3. My eyes were tired, my arms were weak strips of my flesh that didn't want to move from my sides. My legs felt like they had run a marathon and my body was

As Jenny's lips touched mine, I was filled with a state of confusion that nearly knocked me unconscious. I was standing in the middle of a make out party, with all of my friends around me, kissing a girl on the lips! With my BOYFRIEND upstairs probably doing the same thing! I still wasn't sure if I should be worried about stopping the kiss, or worried about how my 'technique' was. She began to get more into it, gently grabbing the back of my head and running her fingers through my hair. Her lips

"This is just silly dude! Why don't we just forget about this?" I said. "C'mon Randy, you already know how to do this, just practice a bit." Ryan replied. He was sitting in front of me on the bed, and for the first time I felt really awkward about the whole thing. Why was this going to be so different that I'd all of the sudden need 'lessons' in doing what we've been doing for so long now? "Ready? Now lean in to the right, close your eyes, and remember...sweet and innocent." I did as R

It's only been a day or two, but as usual, things seem to be slowly working themselves out with Tyler. Since our talk a few nights ago, he's gotten a little bit better, even flashing that awesome smile of his from time to time. He began eating with me and Ryan again for lunch, but whenever Sam and Matt walked into the cafeteria, even though they sat at a different table, Tyler always made some excuse to leave early. I suppose we couldn't expect him to just bounce back all of the sudden and be 10

I woke up late with the sun shining brightly through the hospital window. I could only vaguely remember a smiling nurse picking Wilson up out of my bed in the middle of the night and taking him back to his room. I was really sad to see him go, but too tired to really protest at the time. Besides, the kid was fast asleep, a limp rag doll in the nurse's arms. Such a sweet boy, that Wilson. I'll have to say goodbye before I leave this afternoon. I sat up and rubbed the 'sand' out of my eyes, s

Darkness. A thick black haze of nothingness. No sound, no sight, no smell, nothing but a very faint but familiar sense of touch. As I began to come back to my sense of reality, I could feel someone lightly petting my hair in soft, long strokes. I felt warm breath on my head, and as more of my senses returned I could hear the faint beating of a heart. My head was pressed against someone's chest, and they were cradling me in their arms. Finally, after about five minutes of the soothing treatment,

When I went to bed last night I was filled with defiance and stubbornness. I was ready to become a full blown rebel and spend the day with Ryan no matter what my father said. I wanted to make my stand, to show him that I was not to be bullied or pushed around anymore. But when the morning rolled around, some of that fire had left me, and the fear returned. I mean, this wasn't just some teen angst thing that I was attempting here to throw my weight around, this was outright disobedience. Who knew

Ryan was driving us to Matt's house, and Matt decided to sit in the front seat in order to hide his discomfort about the whole affair from Ariel. Like Ariel couldn't tell from the dead silence during the whole trip. I think the only thing that kept him from putting two and two together was the fact that I was sitting in the back seat next to him. It was hardly the time to worry about myself, but I saw Ariel taking small glances at me from time to time, and occasionally he would pretend to accide

Nothing has ever defined the words 'defeat', 'pain', 'regret', and 'discomfort' as my father's presence. They were words that I had forgotten with time, and Ryan's love had all but erased them from my life in the short time that we have been together. But seeing him standing there, arms outstretched in my mother's house...brought those words and many more back into my world and he shattered any sense of hope that I had for moving forward without him in my life. "What...what are you doing here?"

Free was the only word that I could come up with to describe how I felt. And even that seemed extremely limited. Ryan and I had finally found a place where our love could blossom and bloom without restriction, without rules or laws, without limits. It was so spectacular a feeling that neither one of us knew what to do with it really. After spending our very first afternoon making love in Matt's basement, our little getaway to paradise, we had been beyond inseparable. Even more than before....and
