  1. Finally fed up with the lies and the divisive rhetoric being cascaded down on the severely uninformed population...one vampire decides to take his companions and a few savage Nosferatu variants to a local news station to bring an end to the farce and finally get them to tell the truth. Will they finally admit to being puppets and stooges to a higher power? Or will they face the horror of being ripped apart by the very monsters that they choose to ignore?
  2. The "GFD" spinoffs continue tonight with part one of a two part story called, "GFD: Media Blitz"! I hope you guys like it! Because the entire "GFD" world is going through some 'growing pains' at the moment! Hehehe, and Justin's birth into the world of darkness is at the center of it all! So enjoy! And let me know what you think, when you get a chance! Part 2 coming soon! And check out the entire buffet of "Gone From Daylight" stories, from different eras in time, with different characters, and different movements, in the "GFD: Worlds" section of the site! There's sooooo much that you haven't seen yet! https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/world/gone-from-daylight/
  3. Honestly...I don't think the higher ups at these corporations have any really moral compass at all. It's just not a part of their DNA. In fact, you can't even GET to the higher levels of the industry by caring about other people...which is sad, but I really think it's true. Putting a rainbow pair of Nike sneakers or claiming to support voting laws in the South for a few weekends or pushing forward a female lead character in your next movie franchise does NOT act as proof that some of these people are pieces of shit once the money well runs dry. However...what I can appreciate about this whole 'movement' is that those same people are completely inept at creating the kind of impact that they want their form of entertainment to have on their own. And what happens is...they have to go out and hire people who really have something to say. Who have a personal experience or a unique and honest take on the subject matter. And that's why I support the idea...even though I keep my eye out for the folks who are faking it for the sake of a profit. I'm not looking for the voices of people who are completely out of touch to bring me a gay romance film and not have it be some detached, stereotypical, take on something that we've all seen before. But if they give a talented gay author/writer/actor a chance to bring some realism to the big screen and have it be something 'special' for gay kids and teens to look up to? I don't mind the corporations getting rich off of it. I think it's a blessing! I really do! I mean...eventually, releasing a movie or TV series with gay characters, strong females, black characters, Muslim actors, can become the norm. And not something that seems 'shocking' or controversial. I grew up in the 80's, so I remember people saying things like, "The Cosby Show" has a happy black family who's successful???" Or "'She's The Sherriff'? A WOMAN sheriff???" And anybody being gay...? HA! I was in COLLEGE by the time "Queer As Folk" became a huge controversial series on cable television! So yeah...I wish that corporations really shared the same kind of enthusiasm for the content of their shows as they do for their profit margin. And I've been baited many times before by gay themes (Or by cute boys! Hehehe!), but if it moves the whole world narrative forward, thanks to the writers and directors who are really to bring some real life experience to the table, then I don't mind people getting rich off of it. They're indirectly making things better for all of us. Whether they know it or not! So 'spoonfeed' away! I love it!
  4. Also...Shang Chi!!! I am actually taking a chance to go and see this in the theaters before the internet SPOILS everything!!! Grrrrr!!! But I just know that I'm gonna love it! I mean...LOOK at this!!!
  5. Ok...so with this new trailer, we get a LITTLE bit more! But not much! I'm still so intrigued, though! I'm totally in the dark about the Eternals for the most part! I know a few things, but not that much! So Im psyched for this one! Like...the Justice League...but if EVERYONE was Superman! ::Giggles:: I'm down! Also...the "What If...?" animated series is fucking AMAZING after just two episodes!!! A total mind fuck! Don't miss it!

  7. As wonderful and liberating as it feels to now live in an age when it's not so 'weird' or 'controversial' to represent certain points of view in the stories we read, the movies we watch, or the music we listen to...do you ever stop to think or wonder wha the big 'goal' is behind the people who put out the content that we enjoy so much? NOT that it's a bad thing! If anything, I'd love to think that it's a great service that the entertainment industry is putting forth a decent effort to represent different people, cultures, and points of view, in the tidal wave's worth of information that people absorb on a daily basis. BUT...let's be honest here for a moment, here... A corporation's ONLY motivation is to make money. That's it. Nothing else. We're not consumers...we're targets. If "Wonder Woman" just pulled in a billion dollars at the box office? You'd better believe that 'female empowerment' is the next trend for all of the studios to follow. If "Black Panther" gets major praise, if "Love, Simon" wins awards, if Lil' Nas X makes it high enough on the music charts...expect the greed and patronizing business to go chasing after it to bring us all more of that over anything. The question this time around is...do you ever feel like you're merely being 'spoonfed' what these people think you want to see? What you want to hear? Is 'queer baiting', 'race baiting', 'feminist baiting', a thing that they use to practically rip the money from your pockets when you least expect it? Think about that for a moment. AND...if so...does that bother you? Maybe you're being used. Maybe you're being catered to for one reason or another. But at least you get some representation out of it that might actually do some good out there in the world, right? You're getting a diversity of thought and emotions put out there for the world to see...even if it's being put out by people who, at one time, might have thought such topics were too scary to touch with a ten foot pole if they weren't making tons of money off of it. What do you think! Let us know when you get a chance! I'd love to hear what you have to say! Seezya soon!
  8. God to see you continuing with it, dude!
  9. Youtube decided to start censoring all gay teen short films, and wiping out all favorite lists that include anything that MIGHT make the gay youth feel okay and normal about who they are. Just out of nowhere, for no reason. Saying that it violated their 'child safety' rules and regulations. But that's bullshit! So I'll be posting ALL of the stuff that I had suddenly 'removed' from my youtube account without warning. You guys please feel free to stop me when you find a short film that you think is 'dangerous' (Their words, not mine) for gay teens. K? What's so offensive about liking and sharing the stuff that I find on Youtube? Why am *I* getting a strike on my account??? Wednesday is now "Gay Like Me" short film day. Since 'shame' is the agenda for those who don't have to live with it these days. Every week! Every Wednesday! I'll be right here with another one! FUCK those people! Seriously! These are all gay short films that I had on my account that, for some reason, they found so dangerous and offensive. Like I said...you tell me what YOU think about them, and why they needed to be erased from my account. Is *THIS* what they were so afraid of??? Maybe I'm missing something here. Enjoy! Chapter 6

Hopefully, some of this will be answered in the next chapter. So don't be TOO frustrated! K? Hehehe! To say that this is delicate work would be an understatement. Geez...the internet generation just CAN'T appreciate a few secrets every now and then. My God.
  12. Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you guys know that the August issue of Imagine Magazine is already finished, and everything is set up and ready to go! We're just waiting for everything to be uploaded so we can share it with the rest of you! K? So keep your eye out for a new issue full of goodies soon! I'll let you know as soon as I know! Promise!
  13. I have been missing you guys for quite some time now! So, we're going to repair that this coming Saturday! I'm going to the chatroom on August 21st, at 7 PM EST so I can reconnect with you all and just share a few giggles with those of you that I've been out of touch with for so long! Cool? Life is good! And I want to share it with my online family! So come on by and join the party! Or...you know...miss out! ::Giggles:: But you don't want to do that, do ya? 14. Nah! Not overwritten at all! I loved it! ((Cuddles)) And thanks!
  15. Always makes me melt! More! MORE! Hehehe! Mwah!
  16. Thanks so much for the rush, dude! I really do appreciate it, and I'm glad that you've been sticking with me for so long. Hehehe, I don't think Cody and Sean have been around for THAT long...but it's been a while! Hehehe! It definitely does take a long time to really get my vision out on the screen exactly the way that I want to...and I know that people are always waiting for more. They've tried every trick in the book to try to get me to write faster and faster, and JUST the stories that they want to read above all others. I know. Trust me. There was a time when I only posted one chapter every two weeks...and people thought that was a mind-blowing amount of output for just ONE writer to produce. Hehehe, but, ambitious as ever, I think I've seriously spoiled everybody since then. LOL! Not that my job has gotten any easier, mind you. But, being dedicated to these stories and these characters is something that will always mean a lot to me. And comments like yours and on the stories and stuff...it's the only fuel that I have to burn to keep going. So thank you for that! I always try to keep track of how much new material I release so I can keep up with things, and readers can too. Just in case the missed a new chapter, or might discover a new story that they never gave a chance before. And there will be more new series as the older faves reach completion this year. Like I said, it just takes time. But you guys will find out about all of that starting Monday. I definitely need a chance to relax every now and then. Just like we all do. We're all human after all. Hehehe, "Comsie!!! Write ten more stories for me!" "Sweet! Ok! Make sure to leave me a short comment to let me know if you like them!" "UUUGGHHHH!!!! REALLY? FUCK! Alright...FINE!!! If I *HAVE* to! God, you're sooooo demanding!" Jesus! Who's doing all the heavy lifting here? Hehehe! Thanks for this post, bud! And welcome to the Cafe! I really needed this today! Life's been a struggle lately. The smile did me a lot of good. ((Hugz))
  17. Even if he wasn't bi...who wouldn't go gay for that other blond cutie? Hehehe!
  18. A brand new chapter of the "Waiting Outside The Lines" fanfic series is up and ready to go! I'm looking to finish this one off in the next three or four chapters, so enjoy it while you can. It's been a lot of fun writing this story, and I want to thank all of you who have been hanging in there and supporting me the whole way from the very beginning! Thanks for the comments and the ratings! I truly appreciate every word! ((Hugz)) Have fun with the new installment! And I will be back with more soon! Seezya then! https://gayauthors.org/story/comicality/waitingoutsidethelines
  19. Cool. Ok, is that it? Or are you still writing more?
  20. "Waiting Outside The Lines 27" When I felt Chandler firmly take a hold of my wrist and lead me off set tith a mischievous grin...the overwhelming charge of infatuated chills and turbulent wiggles that I felt racing towards my brain all at once were almost enough to render me unconscious. What am I doing? I mean...this is all happening so fat. I just...I felt like I needed some time to think, you know? I'm a rational person, right? I have a heart. I have a soul. I ca

  22. I think it really comes down to communication, first of all...but it doesn't stop there. You can't just sit down and be honest about something that's bothering you and vice versa, get it off of your chest, and that's the end of it. The real test comes from the respect you both have for that conversation, and the actions to follow afterwards. Otherwise, what was the point, you know? Now, I can be an extremely tolerant person. I can adapt to my current situation. I have a pretty good grasp on what's a harmless little thing and all of the degrees of escalation that lead up to something that I simply can't put up with anymore. But it depends. For example...I don't smoke. I just don't. Now, if I fell really hard for someone who was a smoker, and it was unbearable for me to breathe the air in our own house...we might have to have a discussion about that. I'm not going to demand that my boyfriend simply 'give up' smoking...but can you do me a favor and take that outside when you do? If we have that talk and come to that compromise, he gets to continue being who he is, and I get a break from choking half to death on the fumes. Hehehe! It's never been my goal to 'control' anybody, but that's something that we're going to fundamentally disagree on. So let's work it out. I think every relationship has a grace period where each partner has to bump up against one another's boundaries for a little bit while they learn to weave both personalities together and create something worthwhile. Now...if I come home one day and you're doing lines of COCAINE on the living room coffee table? Ummm...no. That shit has GOT to go! Or YOU'VE got to go and take that shit with you. Period. I guess I just think that it's important to be honest when it comes to this stuff. Maybe you snore in your sleep, maybe you don't like the way he laughs, maybe you gobble up all the groceries in the kitchen and never replace anything, maybe he has a pet cat that drives you CRAZY...whatever it is, I think a lot of it can be worked out with some communication and an active attempt to compromise. However...when it comes to those same individual issues piling up on you? That's where things get tricky. Because, if there are things about me as a person that my partner can't handle or simply despises...but it's, like...a fundamental part of who I am? That's going to be a problem. If there are parts of him that he likes about himself or cherishes or feels protected by...but makes my blood boil? Again...that's a problem. Because we are who are. It would be unfair for me to ask you to change to fit my personal vision of who you should be. I certainly wouldn't want you to feel like you could do that to me. You know? So I think the catalyst is just how 'unfixable' these problems (Or should I say 'differences'?) are, and how deeply they run within us. Because if we turn out to be two completely different people...then so be it. No need for us to both be miserable. We can walk away and find someone that might be more suited to us as a companion. But, like I said, that takes communication.
  23. Love... It can be grand, it can be sweeping, it can be adventuresome. The feeling can brighten up the darkest days and sometimes soothe the worst of past wounds. Whether that love was ever returned to me or not...I can't, honestly, say that I regret any of those nervous, stuttering, swoon worthy, moments in my life...and I'd never den the fact that I'd be willing to do it all over again if I had to. Love can be...mind-blowing. However...it's been my experience over the years that there is one thing that love simply can't be...and that's 'perfect'. Not for me, not for you...not for anybody. There will be challenges. Obstacles. Disagreements. It's merely a part of the process...at least when you're being honest with your partner and vice versa. So this leads me to ask a very simple, 2-part, question... 1 - How do you figure which problems are merely a temporary flare up and will simply pass you by in a day or two? Or when one of you is dealing with a problem that is, essentially, 'unfixable'? 2 - And as you discover a few more unfixable problems in your relationship...can you deal with them? Or will they keep piling up until you have to decide that maybe this wasn't the kind of paradise that either one of you were searching for? Now...when I say 'problems', I'm not talking about something tiny like 'he forgets to take out the trash sometimes'. And I'm CERTAINLY not talking about something HUGE like 'sometimes he gets drunk and comes home to abuse me!' No no no...nothing like that. I'm talking about dealing with differences like maybe he's a bit guarded about his past or his feelings, or maybe you'd rather stay home when all he wants to do is go out and party. Maybe you don't like his friends. Maybe he doesn't like your family. Maybe he's a bit more reluctant to tell people that he's gay while you'd rather be out and proud. Or maybe you're a morning person...but can't sleep because he's a total night owl. You know...not stuff that you'd want to break up over by itself...but if you find one unfixable problem after another where you end up with actual personality clashes and the like...what then? Remember that there's real LOVE and affection between you two. It's there. You both can feel it, without question. But sometimes people just are who they are. You can overlook it or turn your head, just to maintain the peace. You can try to sit down and talk it out to see if you two can reach a decent compromise. BUT...if either one of you ends up being asked to fix the unfixable...what do you do? End it? Remain friends while looking for someone else with a different set of flaws? Think about it...what would you do? Would love to hear your answers below! Anonymous answers are welcome as always. Let us know what you think, and I'll see you soon!
  24. The first official trailer for the "Chucky" series was released today! I LOVE my favorite killer doll! Always have! Hehehe! But what's super cool about this series is 'Jake', the main character (Played by Zackary Arthur), is apparently going to be a GAY teen this time around. And I'm really interested in how they're going to work that into the story! Plus...CUTE!!! So, can't wait! Coming this October!
  25. "GFD: Children Of Sunset 8" Walking through town, I almost felt as though I was lost in a daze of some sorts. I just didn't feel like 'me' anymore, if that makes much sense. I felt like half of me was missing...and I found myself wandering around in the road, hoping to find it again and reattach it before the absence of Colby's presence swallowed me whole. It don't seem right to think it...but I feel like I've fallen in love. Not like...that kind of playground fe
