I have this project thing from when I was in second grade. On it, I had to answer what I wanted to be when I grew up. My answer to that question was that I wanted to be a police officer. Ten years later I am in school to do just that. For a long time, I didn't think that I would be able to accomplish that goal. I thought that I would never be able to physically cut it as a police officer. A few years ago I decided that I would go to college and get a degree for Computer Networking. I figured that that would be a good career choice, and that I could probably be successful at it. However, I put more thought into it, and sitting in a officer all day in front of computers is just not something that I think that I could do. I think that I would have gotten super bored with that kind of job. So then I was stuck for a while. I didn't know what I should study after High School. I never once thought about not going to college... that would just be stupid. Then I decided that I could do Corrections. I really do think that that would be an amazing and rewarding career. So I had signed up for the Criminal Justice - Corrections program. However I figured that if I could do Correction, then I could do Law Enforcement. The schooling is very similar. So I switched to the Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement. I have had about 3 and a half weeks of school so far, and it has been pretty enjoyable. It will take me two years to get my Associates Degree. This semester I have 6 classes: Oral Interpersonal Communication, Courts and Jurisdictions, Professional Communications, Intro to Criminal Justice, Psychology of Human Relations, and Police Nutrition and Fitness. The two communications classes and the Psychology class all seem to have very similar points, and the go together nicely. The Courts class and the Intro class have a lot to do with history and the laws and things of our society. The Fitness class is probably my most challenging and rewarding class. This was the class that I was most worried about before I started school, but I can do it, and I like the class. My life long dream is starting to go into action.

Okay... so I have a problem... and it is a purely mental problem. I hate public restrooms. First of all, people go to the bathroom and then they do NOT wash their hands, which is very disgusting, so if you are one of those people WASH YOUR HANDS SICKO! Then, they leave the room, and touch the door handle. Ew. Then when I go into the bathroom and I wash my hands (With soap! Just putting here hands under water for a second does NOT clean your hands, SICKO!) and when I leave the room, I touch the handle that that SICKO touched. So then my hands are dirty again. Thank goodness for that hand sanitizer stuff. People pee on public restroom floors, and if you are not careful you could step in it. EW! I know that those old people can't really aim all that well, but seriously... then sit on the pot or something... And that brings me to the next thing. Sitting on a public restroom toilet... Never. I refuse. I will hold it all day before I poop in a public restroom. Even with those seat covers. Nope, i won't. Can't make me. And, to the whole reason of this post: I have a problem peeing in a public restroom if other people are in the room. If I am alone it is fine, but if there is even one other person in there, I block up. Even if I go in there and I have to pee SOO bad, I just cannot. Or if I go in there, and I am alone and then someone comes in... I just cannot keep going. It is weird. But if I concentrate on something else really hard then I can go. Don't ask me why... but I always concentrate on a banana. The color, the shape, or whatever. It is crazy, but it works. I may need mental help... That may have been too much information. Have a good night. Remember to wash your hands. With soap! Happy peeing, Kurt

Drew... sorry but that does not make sense... I didn't follow any of that...

Okay... not to be the downer and all but... It is the law, we know that it is the law, and we know that there are consequences if we do not follow traffic laws. Now, I know that you said that the roads were clear and you were not harming anyone, but someone could have came out of a unseeable driveway or side road, a dog, cat, deer, whatever could have crossed the road, whatever. Accidents happen yes, but they are preventable if you follow the traffic laws... they are made for a reason. Granted, I speed once in a while (well, a little more then that...) and I have broken other traffic laws. Lets look at it from the cops prospective. They see someone speeding, they do not know if there is someone farther up the road that could be hurt by the person speeding. They do not know if the person speeding is a habitual speeder. All they know is that someone is speeding and that it is their job to reprimand that speeder. They are not doing it to be mean, they are not out to get you. They are just doing their job, and possibly preventing an accident. They are called accidents because that is what they are, accidents. You may think that nothing could happen if you go a little over the speed limit, but the speed limits are set at what they are because it has been determined that that is the safe speed for the given road. Now, I know that it is never fun to get a ticket. I have been known to speed, luckily I have never been pulled over. I just wanted to look at the other side of the issue here. Yes, some cops are real assholes, but there are assholes in every profession, it is unavoidable. A lot of times cops are fair, they are people too and they have made mistakes too. Maybe I am looking at the issue in this way because starting monday I will be going to school to be a police officer. Good luck in court, hopefully you can get the ticket down.

My dream is to go to Finland. It almost happened. Someday it will for sure. One of the people that I am closest to in the world lives there. I am not sure when I will make it there. When I was suppossed to go there, our plans were to spend lots of time in Helsinki, take a ferry boat to Sweden and go camping. Take their family boat and spend a few days in Estonia, and just have a great time togeather. It is kind of sad that I was not able to go... I did not have enough money. When I do go though, i would love to still be able to do the things that we had planned. Oh, and for your information, Santa lives in Lapland, which is in northern Finland. He has never lived in the South Pole 'North Pole'. EDIT!

Question for people. What kind of household cleaners do you all use? What works for you? What do you like, what doesnt work so well? Have you tried any of the green cleaners? What is good to use in areas that do not have much ventilation i.e. the basement?. What is good for stains? What is good for mold? What works for you to get smells work (musty smells, mold smells, whatever)? Just curious.

Okay...so all this stuff going on here in Packerland regarding the wonderful Brett Favre is really getting crazy. At the share-holders meeting the other day, people got down right vicious towards Ted Thompson and Mark Murphy. Chants of 'Bring Brett Back" and "Free Favre" were shouted throughout the Atrium. People want Brett back... but some people do not. Brett retired. Brett is old. Brett has nothing more to prove. He is THE best NFL QB. He is the greatest football player the Packers have ever seen. He is not as good as he once was. His body is beat up, he is not in good condition. He needs to now spend time with his family and move on. I fear that he will injure himself very seriously, and then his football career will HAVE to end. I think that he should end his career now on a good foot. Brett had previously said that he had no desire to play on another team. Now there are talks of him doing just that. Which is totally his buisness. Brett is a wonderful guy. The things that he and his family have done around this community and through all of Green Bay have left a huge impact on all of the people here. Now, if Brett were to come back and play for the Green Bay Packers, I do not think that he should be first string. That place, in my opinion now belongs to Aaron Rodgers. All summer the Packers have been traing to play with Rodgers this up and coming season. Brett and Rodgers are two different players, they have their own special abilities. Brett is a long passer, Aaron is not. I think it would be couter-productive for the team to have to 'forget' what they learned when it comes to Rodgers, and go back/relearn things if Brett returned. So, what do you guys think?
