  1. Ellis snuggles up to Ben’s body once more before opening his eyes. Lifting his head up, he looks around the room in darkness. The alarm clock in its red glowing digits says it was just after six in the morning. He looks at the dark window. The sun wouldn’t be rising for another hour. Ellis never likes this part of the year with the changing of the clocks and the daytime getting shorter. With the combination of his stomach in need of food and his bladder needing release, Ellis pulls himse
  2. The man standing before Ellis was tall as a tree compared to him. Ellis bets his head would just reach this man's well-defined chest with hair peeking out from the top of his shirt. What does that body look without clothes on? The things that he could be done to this Ben fellow. Ellis stomps that thought as quickly as it came. Ben smiles widely at Ellis. They look into each other’s eyes for a moment. Ben’s eyes shine with affection that Ellis questions but just baths in a strange warmth tha
  3. A sensation almost like slowly rising from a pool of water, Ellis begins to wake. Like a puzzle, piece by piece, his senses come forward. The aching in his chest tries to stay the focus but slowly more pleasant things become apparent. He is warm in a bed, a very comfortable bed at that. Wrapped in a soft blanket, his brain reminds him what got him here. As fast as turning a light on, Ellis is very much awake. A slight panicky feeling comes on. Opening his eyes he sees he is in a small bedr
  4. It has been a long journey on the trail through his life already at 28 years old. The trials and tribulations marked upon his soul. The strength to carry on when all seems hopeless is weary. For how much longer to endure what the universe brings to the table is unknown. The prospect of a reward is unknown. This is Ellis's story. Being in a house far from prying eyes may sound like a good thing. It isn't for Ellis. The sound of a plate crashing to the floor and breaking into a dozen pi
  5. This is a story about a man named Ellis McArthur and the new journey on his trail through the beginning of a new life.
  6. One of the best stories I've read on here. I'm annoyed that I'm waiting for the next chapter. Hell I could just read this all day and be happy.

    Chapter 13

Another great chapter! I'm glad things are going better for him. He is making Lane's life so much more fulfilling and Karen must be so happy that he is being more of a brother to him than the others ever have. Already not so patiently waiting for the next chapter....
  11. Your story was absolutely wonderful. It took a while to convince myself to read it. It just looked like it was going to be a terribly depressing story and my assumptions was right in the beginning. I fought through times I would get scared getting through the bad moments. I would walk away and fight my own memories of torment from inner and outer demons. This story touched me deeply. I was praying for a happy ending for Stefan/Eric/Andy the entire time. I was afraid if it wasn't a happy ending I was going to break into pieces. I only hope that my own happy ending is at least a fraction of the joy you wove for Andy. If you ever decided to publish this wonderful story I will be one of the first to buy it. I would have it in my bookcase and show it off along with my other favorite books. (The ones I don't care for get shoved into the closet. Lol)
  12. I felt like I was coming out of a fog. Everything in my mind was jumbled and I was slowly putting everything back together. The more I pieced it together, I started to feel pain throughout my body. With a terrible throbbing pain in my head I remembered what happened before I passed out. Realizing I was in a bed I took a deep breath to try to get back into the waking world. With a pain in my chest from the breath, a sterilized smell hit me. I was in a hospital which gave me a queasy feeling all t
  13. Several days had passed and I was on my way to Jon’s office to sign the papers to make him my lawyer and Anne my accountant. I knew I shouldn’t be having my new friends also be a part of the professional side of my life. I couldn’t trust someone though with things like that unless they were my friends. The thought that I will be a millionaire was still foreign to me. I felt like my life was changing so fast and I needed to try my best to keep up. I still had to decide on what Ida would want
  14. Thanks for reading and commenting on my story.
  15. It felt like I had sat in that chair for hours, I was completely speechless. After a couple minutes, I asked Jon the main question that was in my head. "Why did Ida leave me with everything when she has a son?" Jon pulled out an envelope with my name on it. He said to me, "Ida told me that she would be the only one that would be able to explain it to you." I opened the envelope and pulled out the hand written letter from Ida. Dear Alden, You may be wondering why I left everyth
