    Chapter 12

There are no easy answers, are there? Liam is the one who has to decide what will make him happy and what he wants. Maybe it's Alek, perhaps Nathan? I don't even think Liam knows right now. Thank you for your comments and support, CG

    Chapter 12

It really does depend on the circumstance and the people involved. Time will tell if this is one of those circumstances. Thank you for your comments and support, Lyssa

    Chapter 12

"mentally healthy" is a great description. Liam was letting things fester and needed to purge some of the anger he had pent up. When they broke up there was no screaming match, no argument. Liam needed this chance. Thank you for your comments and support, Lux

It was good for them to talk. There were things Liam needed to get off his chest or he may never have gotten past them. Thank you for your comments and support, Jeff

You have to remember, Liam was hurt by Alek, so the offer of friendship is actually a step forward for him. Thank you for your comments and support, hoho.

    Chapter 17

Chapter 17 It’d been a week since Liam got the news about school, and he was still walking on a cloud. Corey, as expected, had been ecstatic for him, and they talked often about what Liam should expect when classes started. Liam was also happy to finally be back at work. It was great his boss had given him so much time off, but he loved working, and talking to the patients. There was only so much down time he could handle before he went stir-crazy. The early afternoon sun

    New Perspectives

I truly understand where Fendral was coming from with his argument with Gisla. Yes, he understood logically, and as an alpha, why Gisla needed to go out and find her mate. It was for the good of shifter-kind (is that a word? ), but as a parent, he was terrified. He'd already lost his wife and two sons. Losing his last child, his last remaining family member would be terrifying. I couldn't imagine facing that possibility. It would make any parent want to grab their child tighter to keep them safe. In the end Gigi did was she needed to do, what she was destined to do, but I would like to think she was able to look back and see that her father was reacting out of fear, concern and love. I can't imagine the guilt and regret Fendral has been carrying all of this time. The Cahlar connection to his mother was a surprising twist. Well done, sir. I never would have guessed. Like Kellar, I was leaning more towards the connection being on the paternal side. I get why Kellar is resistant to embracing his heritage. He doesn't want to be a saviour.. He wants to be a healer. I think having it pointed out that he is a combination of the best of both sides of his family will help. He IS a healer, regardless of who he is descended from. I wonder... will he ever find out more about his father's family?

    Chapter 12

I've found that sometimes trust can be rebuilt, but it can be an arduous process. It doesn't always happen though. Liam's lunch with Alek was about getting a lot of hurt and anger off of his chest, although he does have a lot more to work through. Thank you for your support and comments, jaysalmn.

    Chapter 12

It's not surprising that Liam's close (and protective) friends would questions Alek's motives, right? And now I'm replaying the Sound of Music Soundtrack in my head Thank you for your comments and support, B

    Chapter 11

Thanks, Lisa! I have a clear picture of Nata in my head, and she is a sweet young woman. Alek did do this for himself. Sometimes it takes a near tragedy to make you realize you no longer have all the time in the world. Thank you for your comment and support,

    Chapter 11

lol I do remember your feelings about Jason, Jason is a professional, and very good at his job. This was a job. Remember, Liam and Alek had been broken up for months, and Alek wasn't asking him to do anything that could be harmful to Liam. Thank you for your comment and support, jaysalmn

    Chapter 11

Exactly. Liam was the one who made the decision to leave (a good one in my mind). It's up to him to decide if or when he decides Alek deserves another chance. Thank you for your review and support, Def

    Chapter 11

I don't think Alek was a bad guy, but he did do things that hurt Liam. It got to the point that Liam had enough and left. No matter what happens, i also want Liam to be happy Thank you for your review and support, Jeff

    Chapter 11

I'm sorry you feel that way. It wasn't my intention to drag out the drama. To me, Liam didn't plan to continue to keep the truth from Alek, but he isn't sure of himself with the man anymore, and overthinks everything. He froze up. When he thought "now wasn't the time," (in my mind) he meant that Alek was busy going out to an accident scene, not that he never intended to be honest. Thank you for your comment and support, Geemeedee.
