    Sorry for the distraction, buddy. Well... not really. I love how Tobyn made his peace with the earth mother as he hung on wakefulness. He'd been disconnected from her, resentful even, and I think that was the opposite of what he needed. He understands now, the gifts bestowed upon shifters... and he is thankful. Kellar made the only decision he could in the woods, and his wolf agreed. Hunters are scary fuckers. Thanks for the support, my friend. It is appreciated.     Thanks, Ethan. I'm so happy you felt the way you did about Morningstar. And yeah, there is a withdrawal from it... I know I felt it for a long time. Adding another book is still in the plans, but no promises. I do have another story mostly written, but I am taking a break for now.     Hi, Toby!!! Tobyn proves to be a polarizing figure for a while, but I absolutely love him. I like that he argued with me at times... I enjoyed the challenge.

    Thank you! So much work went into getting to this chapter, and I needed to get it right. I'm proud of the shit show I penned, but in some ways the big reveal about the cure got overshadowed. It was intrinsic to making it all work, though. Kellar is truly a hero to shifters, but he doesn't feel it at the moment. It was kind of heartbreaking for me, and still is as I just reread it. I'm so glad you appreciate the characters and the story, drown.

    I get your frustration. A lot of readers felt it. It's what I meant about Tobyn being a tricky character to write. He's stubborn, determined, rigid, but totally dedicated to his pack. It's been quite the load he's put on his back. He needs to put himself first once in a while. Thanks, buddy.

    She was a joy to write, and you can bet this is not the last we see of her. Kellar's dilemma is a tough one. He knows, but Tobyn has no clue, and does not think highly of earth mates.

    That healing scene was an intense one to write... and an intense one to reread just now. It kind of flowed out, though. I eased up the stress level with the search for the plant first, but tempered the intensity with how the chapter ended. Adelin is such a sweetheart, and Tilly will be forever grateful.
