There surely ain't nothing wrong with lust, is there? It is best though, at least for me, when mixed with real love. I tried to show these men in awe of what they are learning on the fly, but also comfortable enough with each other to push their own limits. I would never say cowboys and farmers are innocent of life, but there is, in my mind, an innocence to this first love. This first foray into sharing God's incredible gift. Yep, kudos to Fletcher. Some of us take to it like a duck to water. I'm pleased you noticed the different direction. I've sort of inverted this story as I said to someone else in a previous comment section. I wanted to see if I could make it work with a changed, evolving emphasis. As far as Maureen, we'll learn more about her, but what we do know is Albert was fortunate to have found her, though her loss has left him hateful and bitter it would seem. I've tried to make this chapter as real as I could. it's been a hell of a way to start a relationship, but it would seem they have outmaneuvered the demons of their youth, and the roadblocks to their future. I'll gladly take the wow, Phredd! You are very kind in your praise. I loved writing and posting this story, and I don't believe I've ever put so much work into a work before or since. I did want to write a different kind of shifter story, and I feel I achieved that. It's a mystery as much as anything, and weaving one was a continuous challenge that taught me a lot about being thorough. So happy you found it totally encompassing. I have always meant to continue in this world, but I'm wary. The first book will be a tough act to follow, and would likely invite comparison. Glad you have enjoyed my westerns as well. They have proved to be more popular that I even expected they would be, and rewarding for me to write. Thanks so much for the comment and story like.
