Wow! I’m watching an episode of Murder. She Wrote from season one (1984) and the episode is about a driverless car. They're actually talking about the technology that is being tested today. How did the writer’s know about this technology 34 years ago? Then again, hospitals etc. got the idea about automatic doors due to the automatic lift doors on Star Trek, so maybe this newest invention was inspired by this episode? Hmm...

I look at word counts when I save chapters to Word, so I have an idea how long they’ll take me to read. Except for the last two being doubles (so double the kb) they are about the same number of kilobytes as the single chapters.

While it's not an exact match because siblings can be different, based on my brother's ancestry DNA test there is Scandinavian in our familial line, but it's only 1%, but that's enough right?

Good afternoon everyone on what is an absolutely gorgeous afternoon.. Went out to run a couple of errands in one place followed by an errand at another place. Accomplished one errand (had planned to accomplish second errand after the first, I know that sounds weird, but just go with it, okay?), but dammit, my brain completely forgot about errand number two, and it wasn’t until I was on the subway heading to errand number three, that I remembered, I forgot to do errand number two Errand number three was groceries. Simple enough, right? Yes, it was until checkout. Messed up the debit transaction twice, and then I forgot to put something in my bag, so the cashier had to run after me to with it. Why is it, I have a superbly excellent long term memory, but my short term memory frequently shoots sparks? Edit: PS: I am not a ditz, honest...

I worked in a children’s hospital just out of school, so I can say this is absolutely true. To this day, I can recall many of these kids with great fondness. It’s not to say we didn’t experience sorrows, because there were kids we mourned, but the triumphs? They were golden.
