Okay, was this guy drunk or egged on by his idiot friends (not that anyone else is mentioned, mind you. btw, this happened today in Toronto. https://www.cp24.com/news/man-accused-of-climbing-to-top-of-structure-outside-scotiabank-arena-charged-1.4310961

this is what the weather network is posting at the moment. Hopefully, they are right about the timimg and it will be very early morning.

The wind seems to have died down, but it’s now snowing and very foggy. Just trading unpleasant weather - oh wait, the wind isn’t gone, so the snow and the fog is just joining the party...
-
Happy to hear Mike came to get you, but not for the reason why. Yeah, that wind is something else, alright.
-
That's why I'm a reader and not a writer.

This was the line I was referring to - the words of a bodyguard. “Just doing my job. The boss said to protect you at any cost. That includes defenestration.”
-
Mac and iPad user here, I didn't realize that feature was unique to the brand. Having said that, pasting the word into google is my method of choice - more options to research that way. I know I've come across some other cool words wish I could remember one of them. Oh wait, I do: defenestration. Defenestration is a word for the act of throwing something or someone out of a window. Yes, there's actually a word for that. Fenestra is the Latin word for window.

Doths protest too much, does he. You’re not the only one. Truth tellers, we are.

It’s not hard to look up things, just saying.... Bonus is, learning something new.
-
As long as a good tale is being told, I don’t mind grammar not being quite right. It’s the story not the syntax that enriches the reader, right?
-
So natch, I just had to google that (so susceptible to dangling carrots I am - good thing I’m not a cat ) and what I found was quite interesting...
-
Yep, and aiming to win first prize.
-
The forecasted windstorm has started. The trees are being whipped around and I can hear it booming, too. Take care coming home tonight @Mikiesboy.

Damn, Thorn, that was funny. You should be a writer...

Is Tesla happy having the flat all to herself (meaning no pup)?
-
I’m not an author, but after coming across this word (okay, so I look up a lot of things I come across in my readings) I just have to share it even if what we read here are electronic words.
-
Got some reading to do. Have a good night everyone... @Wayne Gray nice to meet you, btw.
-
Noted. Speaking of No Name products, No Name cheddar (mild in the club pack) is excellent. No more processed cheese slices for me.
-
The description intrigued me, so I’ve added it to my To Read list.
-
Yep, steamed broccoli with a just a bit of salt and pepper is divine.
-
Maybe, I should try them, then.
-
Never had canned ones. My mind’s eye is giving me the side eye just thinking about doing that. Not sure why, since I have never tried them. And well, you know my history of refusing to try brussels sprouts, and um, other things, and how I feel about them now that I finally did...
-
Hi Mike. I agree, 56 notifications is a lot.

No jello, but I had three mandarin oranges for dessert. One of them was quite tart, let me tell you.
