So, tonight my upstairs neighbour had a flood (some kind of backflow in the pipes from a blockage somewhere on the line) in her unit. Doesn’t matter how many times management tells us to not put anything (like oil that will dry and harden( down the kitchen sink, there’s always someone who does. I’ve had visits from security, the building Super, amd a plumber. All were checking to see if I had leaks through my celiling. The plumber had a gadget he held up to the ceiling that could detect water, and he (thank you very much) came up empty, so it looks like I’m in the clear. I’m so relieved it’s highly unlikely I’ll have any issues at this point as I heard the unit above me was flooded quite a bit. That was my night, hope you all had a good one...

Good night tim... sweet dreamz tonight and always when the time comes xoxo

You should definitely check them out. Guaranteed for a lot of chuckles.

Something new works for me.

My Netflix doesn’t care enough to say that, it just turns itself off. Your comment did remind me of the time I stayed in my seat at the theatre and watched the final credits role on Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Have to say, I wasn’t expecting this...

Oh, I know how that’s possible. lol I don’t ever look at the time on my laptop because it’s so tiny and out of the way, so I bought a clock that sits under my desk lamp. Helps, if you notice the time hasn’t changed, though. Who knew batteries die?

Good night and happy dreams when the time comes, molly.

This seems to be a pattern with you Thorn, do we need to, perhaps, buy you a better clock? Could be... Good night and happy dreams...

Good night, Mike.

The sun is setting causing the air to chill - or maybe it's just me drinking refrigerated water - so I'm off to brew some hot chocolate. See you laterz...

Thanks for schooling me in this, molly. I was too lazy to look it up.

Why did I know you would? It came in another colour/design, too. I take it you know what it is?

Saw this on Amazon when I was looking for something else. I don't even know what it is (it looks like a kids spinning top to me lol), so I don't think I need one....

It was glorious, but I know from experience, you don't have to be out in to enjoy it or benefit from it. Yeah, tomorrow has a higher, but still not too high, chance of snow - hope it's more of what we got today.

Actually, yes, yes it does. I wonder if Jack lives in that house?

Another tree. Between you and me, it looks more like a fossilized boa constrictor

It took me a while to figure out this is something you can't do "cold turkey" as the saying goes. I've heard you should decrease your waking hours in small increments until you reach your end goal. Oh, and lying awake in bed told me this, too.

So, usually when old telephone poles have lived their life they are torn down to make way for new ones. I have walked by these two poles many times, and finally remembered to take a picture. As you can see, some old telephone poles will do anything to stick around....

I read this and the saying "careful what you wish for" popped into my mind. Hmm, I wonder why....

Good afternoon everyone. It’s sunny outside, but my brain is in couch potato mode, and doesn’t want to go anywhere... Oh well, I’ve given myself a mental kick, so I’m heading out. Have a great day you lot!

I know, it would have been so easy for me to do that in the forum, but I managed to rein in my temptation to do just that.

Magnifique. You hit all the notes, just right, tim.
