  1. @BHopper2 to put things in perspective, while your local temp is 61F, it’s 32F in Toronto. Also, you won’t ever catch me visiting Florida in the summer. I’d fry like an egg on the sidewalk. Of that, I have no doubt,
  2. I wouldn’t need a jacket at that temp. Rather balmy, in my neck of the woods is what that would be.
  3. I am having hc, but it’s not enough, so now I’m snuggled under a blanket.
  4. @Mikiesboy Don’t be sad, be happy, Def’s just looking out for you is all. Oh gee, now, I’m comma confused.
  5. You forget it’s cold up here, A. Ice cream while absolutely delightful under most circumstances isn’t so delightful when one is cold. Speaking of cold, the cardigan isn’t helping, so Im going to have some hot chocolate...
  6. Found an interesting article on that very subject. http://www.vh1.com/news/224530/artists-who-should-be-in-rock-roll-hall-of-fame-but-never-will-be/
  7. Happy hunting/browsing/shopping, molly and Phil.
  8. Interesting you should mention Carnation, because Carnation (cream in a can) was a staple in my family’s fridge going up. Can’t recall what it was used for as my parents both drink their coffe black.
  9. Blasphemy! Unrepentant milkaholic here, couldn’t help my response
  10. I remember them helping out at my parents grocery store, and thinking what a great idea someone had to set that up.
  11. Oddly - or not - cold ears/head doesn’t bother me. As long as my hands - mittens, not gloves are a must - are warm, the cold doesn’t bother me that much. Well, mittens paired with a warm coat, and scarf, that is.
  12. I’d rather stay in, but I’ve got errands I need to do. Oh well, warm coat, mittens and the subway (not walking today) will have to see me through.
  13. A wonderful scene to envision. Thanks for sharing this, tim.
  14. Stay inside, snuggle under a comfy blanket and drink lots of tea.
  15. Good night and sweet dreams everyone...
  16. So much to look forward, but remember no pressure, always go at your own chosen speed.
  17. Yes, they do. I like making it in the skillet, because you don’t have to wait for the water to boil. It takes about 10 minutes. I wing it and add water as needed or drain it with a colander if there’s too much water. Sauce/butter is mixed in the skillet, too. Nice and easy clean up.
  18. It’s actually called half-cut not half size https://www.barilla.com/en-us/products/pasta/pronto/pronto-half-cut-spaghetti
  19. I made half size spaghetti with butter, garlic and parmesan for dinner tonight. It was yummy! :
  20. I almost had that a couple of days ago, because it’s wonderful comfort food on a cold night. I’m sure I will have it sometime in January.
  21. There are only two vegans - one is the hostess - and with her daughter (my SiL) and my brother there, the non-vegan cooking will be handled. Interesting to note, the hostess ate the salmon she cooked last Christmas dinner or the one the year before (can’t remember which), so she must be a relatively new convert.
  22. Good night tim...sweet dreamz tonight and always xoxo
