  2. I found them on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. Strange thing, on .com you can buy a two pack, but on .ca you can only buy a 24 pack which is a lot considering there are 20 cough drops per pack. Oh wells...

  11. I’ve heard about that method, but it sounds messy to me. I can just picture bits of potato stuck on the socket - with my luck, anyway - and just thinking about trying to clean that out? No, just no...
  12. Feeling quite impressed with myself, I am. I was changing a burnt out bulb last night and discovered the new one wouldn’t screw in for some reason. Well damn, the end of the old one broke away from the bulb and was stuck in the socket. What to do, what to do? Why ask Mr. Google, of course, because surely he knew what to do. Sure enough. he did. Cut the power to be safe than used pliers (they need to be open and pressed against the sides of the silver piece ( no idea what it’s called) and turned the pliers to unscrew it. Lo and behold, the silver piece came loose and I was able to get it out, so I could put in a new bulb. It may may just be me, but I found I had to use two hands, because I couldn’t keep the pliers open doing it one-handed. I know I’m probably preaching to the choir for at least some of you, but hey, I learned some new and helpful (no need to purchase a bulb extractor tool) so I thought I’d share it with you all.
