MetaProphecies is the 6th book (out of 8) of the MetaWolf series, a polarizing, politically incorrect and twisted story in the M/M wolf shifter genre. As usual you will find treacherous wolves, scheming vampires, (few) sexual oddities and a Meta you want to hug and kick at the same time. It is unlikely you can enjoy this novel without having read the first five books of the series and MetapPrompts until prompt 474 'Zero' (#54).
I see: using every trick in a writer's drawer to torture us: main character nearly dying, lover screaming his name, cliffhanger ... and still no pounding ;-) (actually you made point of non-pounding, my dear; how naughty is that?). I hope ch18 comes quickly ...I'm sure M's a good nurse ... like his sister in law (oops). JAR
Sorry to be contrarian (or not sorry): I'am not sure it is wise to upset a people who just 'gave' you a planet at the first meeting to satisfy the needs of one individual ... the need of of the many ... Vampire seems to love for a long time ...
Damn. Now I cannot even complain about UST. Awaiting Kel's story. And electronic-blocking devices ... M going all bare-hands ... looking forward to that.
LL, consider that a 'threat:' Only "no comment" as comment until UST turns into RST. I noticed everyone is friends with everyone (including parents) ... ;-)
LL, you're a driving the concept of UST to the limit ... like my fellow readers I suddenly feel much more sympathy for straight men ... teasing is good ... this amount of teasing? No, madam ;-). And then having a 1 month imprisonment as solution ... imaginative and so ... dirty ... in its own way. I'm looking forward to it. Thank you!
M is a patient and deliberate hunter. "Later," again? Now we know what it means to build it up for a climax ;-). Could help but wonder why somebody would invite another species to colonize their world ... there must be a catch somewhere...
So an extensive section as 'excuse' to show off the male physique (lakes have to be investigated) or a prelude to something more sinister? M now being taller than J - now how is J going to take that? And VERY young recruits ... intriguing cocktail ...
Ohoh, Merrick is a teaser. Such a naughty boy. I loved the comment about the furniture (made me chuckle). Looking forward whether M is going for 'the kill' in the next chapter ;-).
Jensen is a true diplomat finding an 'innocent' excuse to explain away the incidence ... and the attraction ... And M really waited for 10 years ... his a determined man then ... can you send him over? Eagerly awaiting the reunion; wondering who is going to turn out to be top dog ;-).
J training Merrick how to become a great warrior ... now that has interesting subtexts. It brought me to Sparta ;-). I am pleased you are 'dragging out' the meeting between J and Merrick ... but I'm eagerly awaiting it. (PS Like the trick to use a child's question do understand more the context of 'your' vampires. Smooth, my lady, smooth.)
I love the twist George is still a boy when they meet. And the dark Sleepy Hollow-feel. And why is the boy alone at home? Outeide of the bedroom can be fun.
Congratulations to your debut. I am as excited as your vampire to find out what kind of man the boy grew into ... and what the job of a vampire diplomat is. I am sensing "hot situations" on every level. I particularly liked the effortlessness of describing the boy and his mother ... real life experience is always helpful ;-) And blood cocktails ... I wonder where the blood in the cans comes from <grin>. I assume we get regular chapter updates ... precisely one per week? ;-) NO pressure.
MetaDeaths is the 5th MetaWolf book, a 'polarizing' and politically incorrect series of the M/M wolf shifter genre; with odd wolves (submissive enforcers), odder humans (a Meta), and even odder vampires, only outdone by one queen that is a queen in more ways than one. It is highly advisable to read the first four books in the series (Meta, M-Origins, M-ShadowLands and M-Battles) and the M-Prompts until chapter 35 before this book. -- 'You should have chosen differently.'
