    we'll have 100% here. some schools are closed, some counties issued state of emergency warnings, there are No Parking signs on the roads, it's absolutely nuts. the best thing was there wasn't any traffic this morning lol!

    we all have access to the list in the grocery store app. need/want something, add it to the app. groceries and menus are usually headed out in a group chat by Saturday afternoon. it works most of the time i like the white board idea though. could be helpful for meal ideas.

    lessons learned from the last few weeks..... sometimes, knowledge isn't fun. like when you know before anyone else BUT the manager about layoffs... a good nights sleep doesn't always make things better... BUT the sun always rises, even after a bad night... having all of your children, adult children, back at home is both a blessing and a curse... puppies playing in the sprinkler can make you smile... 106 F is too freaking hot... starting with a new therapist is scary, but i'm hopeful... take care y'all

    what a week (whew!!) month end reports done right new strategies in place to make July go even better AC died at work on Sunday, no AC for the week. conditions at the office were such that no testing could be done Thursday while at the retina clinic with Phil today i found out that our corp office approved a new AC system name that tune bingo and drinks with old friends tonight bundled of to bed now take care y'all

    This week's things to remember Monday's are neither good nor bad. MY reaction to what happens changes this. It's going to be a long, hard week. But i can control how i deal with it. Breathing is important. Remember to take slow deep breaths. It is OK and permissable to step away when i feel overwhelmed. That is NOT giving up. It is re-centering and regulating. maybe this speaks to someone else. have a good day 😊

    I don't bake, but those biscuits did look good. i made a big batch of chicken salad last weekend. we had the last of it for lunch today on some jalapeno cheddar bread from the farmers market.

    a couple of takeaways from the last several days do the hard things, yes they are hard, but they have rewards when you do the right thing, it'll work out. when someone says something hurtful, don't react, wait for the emotion to settle you know your manager is a good one when they say, "If that person messages, calls, emails, I don't care what I'm doing, you bring your laptop to my office. YOU did nothing wrong." simple things can bring a lot of joy don't make @Kitt mad, lol! i hope you are all well

    i have the long weekend too, and the boss let us all go early yesterday. today looks like a normal Saturday, Farmer's Market, Saturday marketplace, the pet place for more food. Phil wants to attend the Memorial Day event in town, so we'll do that too. i hope everyone is able to spend some time just breathing and relaxing this weekend.
