  1. Just finished reading Stonegate - OMG it made me cry, which I hardly ever do. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever read, it really is, and I've read a lot over the years. I wish I could write like you, the way the words really painted the pictures in my head is wonderful. It's why I read, so I can lose myself. All I've got to say now, is *write more* or maybe I should read slower - I guess it means that I'll get some work done tomorrow though Terri

    The Shower

*shyly sticks head round corner* This is a really gorgeous story. It's one of those which after reading I felt you hadn't wasted a single word, really amazing. It's in a class way above straightforward porn .
  3. This gets even better and better. I know people like his Mum, who don't stop watching the TV when you talk to them; my 7yr old son in fact Zach is a good guy, I really think he deserves someone better, on the other hand he's right about working at things. Await the next part with great anticipation
  4. The combination of the two is great; there are so many people like that. They have their own special gifts, yet don't find their way into fiction and stories often enough. T
  5. Lurker sticking her head out here I've read all of your fic, I think but this is turning out to be my favourite, not sure why, but that's ok. Jeremy just seems to be a really ordinary person, which is nice. I find in a lot of fic the characters are larger than life, which is fine, but can get a bit much at times. Terri
  6. I was away on holiday - but thank you all sooo much
  7. For A level, which I took many years ago now and think/hope is sort of the UK equivalent, I had to study poetry too. I did Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Byron and Chaucer. Then did straight texts too which included Dickens, Austen and Eliot. All are classic UK/English authors. It did instill in me a lifelong love of Shakespeare and poetry for which I will always be grateful.
  8. I love this story. I'm wondering what's going on with Toby though, something or nothing; curious. . . .

    What a Borg

Lol - I used to have a similar habit with Star Trek, mine seems to now have transferred itself to the 3 CSI franchises. Vampires are cool, they don't deserve to be slain like that!
  10. Alice the Camel - a classic Alice the camel has five humps. Alice the camel has five humps. Alice the camel has five humps. So ride, Alice, ride. Boom, boom, boom, boom! Alice the camel has four humps. Alice the camel has four humps. Alice the camel has four humps. So ride, Alice, ride. Boom, boom, boom, boom! Alice the camel has three humps. Alice the camel has three humps. Alice the camel has three humps. So ride, Alice, ride. Boom, boom, boom, boom! Alice the camel has two humps. Alice the camel has two humps. Alice the camel has two humps. So ride, Alice, ride. Boom, boom, boom, boom! Alice the camel has one hump. Alice the camel has one hump. Alice the camel has one hump. So ride, Alice, ride. Boom, boom, boom, boom! Alice the camel has no humps. Alice the camel has no humps. Alice the camel has no humps. 'Cause Alice is a horse, of course.
  11. That made me laugh Kevin; as a Country Music fan I noticed you had a few in there, but had left out Trace Adkins - now he as the sexiest voive ever IMO
  12. Mine is Keith Urban - love him, love his music. I got to see him live last year which seeing as I'm in the UK is quite an achievement seeing such a big US star. Fave song is - Dont' Shut me Out - I just love the lyrics Don't shut me out maybe baby We should talk about it 'Cause you've got your doubts but maybe, baby They might be unfounded Have a little faith you'll make it through I'd never hesitate to talk to you If you tell me just what's weighing on your mind Maybe it could help you sleep tonight So don't shut me out Don't be so proud don't ya know that Before a fall it leaves ya And it'll take you down baby that ain't Where I wanna see ya The sun'll rise tomorrow come what may And you'll feel better than you do today And in time you'll cry no more I know 'cause my heart's been there before And here I am when you need someone My shoulder's yours to cry upon And everybody now and then Needs and understanding friend around So don't shut me out Don't shut me out maybe baby We should talk about it 'Cause you've got your doubts but maybe, baby They might be unfounded Listen to your heart and clear your mind And you will find the answer every time Every road you travel on will lead To where it is your heart's supposed to be And here I am when you need someone My shoulder is yours to cry upon And everybody now and then Needs an understandin' friend around So don't shut me out, don't shut me out, don't shut me out

    Sad

It seems very impertinant of me to put this here - but that is exactly how I'm feeling over it. I'm generally a lurker, occasionally I post, but Green's death even got to me. Life is cruel at times -
  14. Your poems are great, just read them all . Far better than mine which are just plain depressing - hence why i don't post them anywhere lol. Terri
  15. That flashing headlight trick used to work with the older lights back in the 80's but it doesn't seem to anymore - more's the pity!
