    Prologue

Thanks to my email I was delighted to see both you and Granger returned. Finished the Prologue, now on to Chapter 1!

    Chapter 11

Not happy with the turn of events. I was enjoying the story but killing off Tanner, potentially the second most important character, doesn't sit well. But as the author it's your prerogative to take the story wherever you want - with or without me as the reader. Jack

    Chapter 9

RE: Chapter 8 Reviews - I guess I spoke too soon, should have waited for Chapter 9! Jack

    Chapter 8

I'm enjoying the story - but come on, these two guys are about 18 yrs. old, not 11. They are in love with one another. At their age their hormones are raging. They're not going to stop and talk about the appropriateness of the simple act of touching one another. Fondling each other, jacking off together, even oral sex is not unusual at their age. OK, they certainly would be more careful about initiating anal sex. And granted, they might be concerned about engaging in sex in their parents house. Jack

    Chapter 15

Owen is really thick too often - he never seems to see the forest for the trees. Which is not to say that Aiden doesn't have his own set of problems. Meanwhile, Travis is enjoying the whole silly business.

    Chapter 12

I readily agree with both Miles and Sweet - right on! And also, I chuckled several times over your wry sense of humor.

    Chapter 11

I hope this isn't a prelude to the permanent parting of Owne's and Aiden's relationship. I don't think I can deal with it! Love your writing but the situations sometimes unnerve me. Why didn't Aiden take Ryan's suggestion and go back and explain to Owen what he really meant?

    Chapter 1

I was so thrown by the split between Owen and Aiden I stopped reading ITF for awhile. It put a pall over the story and tended to destroy all the good feelings left at the end of TLW. But I've returned hoping you'll get them back together before the end of the sequel. But I can't deny how good your writing is.
  9. I do like books, plays, movies with bittersweet themes: The plays of Eugene O'Neil and Tennessee Williams, many of which I've seen on Broadway, F. Scott Fitzgerald's and John Steinbeck's books - to name a few that have left lasting impressions. And the three books I discovered on your group; At Swim, Two Boys; Dream Boy; and A Map of the Harbor Islands - all bittersweet stories that deeply affected me, with characters I think I will never forget. When I'm sad or melancholy I turn to music for solace - some Bach, or Mozart, etc. My spouse reacts just the opposite - music intensifies her sadness.
  10. Terrific - now I get to read you two different places - what have I done to deserve this
