    It should be a nice warm day here (33C) but there is an awful amount of smoke outside. 5 burn offs happening near me and it all merged into one big smoke blanket Hopefully the winds tonight should clear it all away

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! I am supposed to be visiting this weekend and they still have a Covid lockdown in place, so no visitors. Keeping fingers crossed but I will need to be packed and ready to go before I phone on Friday to see if it’s all ok.

    I caught up with an old friend from high school. He has decided to retire (early) and is now taking on a three year bakery course. Amazing

    Hey Terry Apart from having the same problem as Clo with days requiring multiple layers coming on and off, it’s not been too bad. Dad's birthday is coming up and we have sorted what he is getting - I already have a 12yo bottle of a local Honey Whiskey liquor and need to buy a small drill press and then we are done. Presumably we will not encourage him to enjoy both presents at once.
