Hmmm felt sick Friday arvo, went to doctor at 5pm on Saturday and test results published at midnight Saturday night. Yes but why did he wait until 5pm. Obviously these idiots have never had to make a doctors appointment. 30 people that the guard knew were not tested because he didn’t have contact with them in the time he was infectious. So why are these people not in quarantine asks the journalist. NO CONTACT WITH HIM... did you not listen? Deep breaths...

And it’s the start of the School year so it gets stuck in the head of everyone who grows up here. Feb is a stinker. Of course it is the start for some schools. The Perth and Southwest Schools will be closed for the week. Other rural and regional schools will be open for business.

He seems to have done the right thing. Was tested every 4 days I think and got the damn virus just before daily testing of staff had begun. Symptoms were not classic but he went to the doctors regardless. This was not one of the ones guilty of bonking people in isolation

Well it had to happen... After escaping any real issues for the last twelve months, a hotel quarantine security guard and part time Uber driver has been infected with the new UK variant and we are on lockdown for a week. I found out while shopping, wondering why the place was so busy on a Sunday. Masks, lockdown and all the rest had slipped us by. Schools were scheduled to start on Monday but not now.
