Counting down the hours left... Friday lunch time here... eating my Thai Green Curry and talking about restaurants we miss and how we used to go out to the pub for lunch or after work Apart from constantly looking at the clock, I'm doing ok How about you?

Sigh... I was planning a visit to Darwin but then the world changed... holiday plans thrown out the window... On the other hand I still have a job (with pay cut/purchased leave/10% less each fortnight), and can plan holidays for when we reopen. Tropics was my earlier (winter) plan, now I might be looking elsewhere. Plenty of good places here

Just because holiday confusion isn’t enough, on 4th October half the country goes on day light savings while the other half complains about it A few people at work got a bit stroppy when I pointed out the webinar they booked in for 12:30 was actually going to start at 11:30 our time. I was just trying to help

Queens Birthday, which is actually in April but the rest of the country “celebrates” it in June but we have Western Australia Day then and just to confuse things, the week after is Labour Day for most of the country which we celebrate in March... Confused?
