We are in a cruel world. Just over 100 people at work have been told they are out of a job and now less than a week since we said that, changes are afoot and now some will be staying. It’s not fun when it’s playing with people’s lives

Australian Rugby is so desperate to play again (corporate not the players), that they are talking about moving them all to an island in total isolation and they can play there for the rest of the season. I’m guessing it will be more like the Hunger Games than Survivor.

The whole situation is very weird but it’s good that the kids are driving by and chatting even if they can’t stay. Trying to explain it all to Dad was a surreal experience. I don’t think he really understands the reality of it all, I’m not sure I do and I'm living it.

OMG I found toilet paper and lots of it. Only got one pack Mince and sausages have been in short supply in supermarkets here. I’m not sure if that is panic buying, kids being home from school or a combination of the two. And in another story of justice, a guy paid a group of people to buy toilet paper and hand sanitizer requiring 138 separate trips to the store. He purchased over $10,000 worth of product and was trying to make a killing on eBay. They shut him down so he took the receipts and toilet paper back to the store but was told to go away. No one likes extortionists

No, there are limits Mushy pea consumption seems to be a state thing, very big in South Australia and some in New South Wales but the rest of the country, not so much
