The whole situation is very weird but it’s good that the kids are driving by and chatting even if they can’t stay. Trying to explain it all to Dad was a surreal experience. I don’t think he really understands the reality of it all, I’m not sure I do and I'm living it.
Very nice Page, it’s a good combo for tea and for salad (add some feta too)
Its more soup weather here. When it cools down, like today, I have a hankering for pumpkin soup with sour dough toast
OMG I found toilet paper and lots of it. Only got one pack
Mince and sausages have been in short supply in supermarkets here. I’m not sure if that is panic buying, kids being home from school or a combination of the two.
And in another story of justice, a guy paid a group of people to buy toilet paper and hand sanitizer requiring 138 separate trips to the store. He purchased over $10,000 worth of product and was trying to make a killing on eBay. They shut him down so he took the receipts and toilet paper back to the store but was told to go away. No one likes extortionists
No, there are limits
Mushy pea consumption seems to be a state thing, very big in South Australia and some in New South Wales but the rest of the country, not so much
I just had super easy dinner that could be breakfast. A total cheat meal.
I put pita bread into muffin trays, added a bit of pizza cheese blend to the base, then added an egg and chopped up chorizo, toppled it with a bit more cheese and popped it in the oven. Soooooo good and so easy
and Val will love it, no peas, no fungus
