Good explanation of the southern US pronunciation of Rory. Sounds just like I would say it (the first version , not the drawled one). Personally, I have known only one person named Rory and he went by his middle name.
Rory is definitely an Irish masculine name, also common in Scotland. See the Wikipedia entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rory_%28given_name%29. It includes a list of 28 notable persons named Rory; only one is female and her Rory is a nickname.
Chapter 26 has been released and it is a great one. We learn a lot about the Worthington/Jamie/Carl relationship.
Great chapter, Dan! I'm ready for the next one.
Nope. No news. The old saying "no news is good news" just doesn't seem appropriate in this case. There has been no word from Dom in months. I keep thinking that somewhere there is a GA member who knows Dom well enough to contact him directly and give his fans some news of his current situation. We all wish him the best. If we knew he was alive and well and happy, we could be content and patient waiting for his next post.
In the meantime...
Chapter 24 and Chapter 25 are available for your reading pleasure.
Dan has provided two more amazing chapters. Worthington and Jamie really are becoming a team; Jamie is not merely a gopher but takes independent action which supports Worthington's cause. They are victorious at the big meeting of mages. And they may have taken Colin in as a new member of the inner circle. Great story!
This is a great chapter, CJ. Hope you are enjoying your trip by the way.
Chase and Brandon keep having to delay their planned night together. This isn't what I would call a cliffhanger, but it does reveal a certain evil intent on the part of our esteemed author. Maybe chapter 15 will have a happier ending. Next stop...Phoenix.
Was that a Freudian slip or did you not intend to say "oval office"?
I think Jeremy knows about Worthington and Jamie especially since he's been taking nude pictures of them as they slept.
Chapter 22 and Chapter 23 have been posted.
Two more great chapters, Dan. I particularly enjoyed Worthington's negotiations with Domas the dark dwarf. At least he didn't lose his shirt. He also has to test his wits against the Demon Lord and a real life DHS agent. Lot's of intriguing twists and turns in these chapters.
I guess if Kendrick has "programmed" all the other police officers to think Worthington and his gang are all Homeland Security agents, their reckless driving will be overlooked.
And, consider this from Chapter 22:
