I, for one, am not moving on. Dom will return. Repeat after me, "Dom will return!" Of course, we can keep an eye on Dom's space while reading other authors. I recently read and recommend From Behind Those Eyes by Viv. Have a hanky handy.

I had the same experience as a "newbie". Replies to author blogs and e-mails do not count toward the minimum five posts...only replies to forum topics will count. Just post four more quickly, then read away. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure that is right, Kashka, that no one would be so evil as to keep thousands of Dom's fans waiting nearly 4 1/2 months for the next installment of ITFB. The new boyfriend may be so jealous of his relationship with Dom that he wants the rest of us to forget the master storyteller. No chance of that happening of course. You just don't know about some people. When I started this thread on August 18, I never imagined that it could gather nearly 100 replies and 5,779 hits and we would still be awaiting a new chapter. (I think that is the largest number of hits ever for any thread in Dom's forum. But, of course, we haven't had a new chapter to discuss.) The delay is certainly a mystery. I can't help but think that, if the boyfriend was so evil, Dom would have escaped his clutches and returned to his normal pursuits. Little Buddha TW recently started writing again after an absence of just over one year. But his break did not come in the middle of a story and, more important, his fans were kept up to date on his whereabouts and the reason for the delay. We can only hope that, in Dom's case, no news will eventually give way to good news.

Dan is a dark mage?

I was counting on Dan for some weekend reading. I'll try to be patient; I know it will be worth waiting for.

Eat goats. Kiss frogs. There was once a young man who was crossing the road. As he was making his way over a frog called out to him and said, "If you kiss me, I will turn into a beautiful princess." The young man picked up the frog and put it in his pocket. The frog called out from the young man's pocket, "If you will kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will come to your house for one week and cook and clean for you." The young man took the frog out and smiled at it and then put it back into his pocket. The frog called out from the young man's pocket again, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I'll stay with you for as long as you want and do anything you want me to." Again, the young man removed the frog, smiled at it, and then placed it back into his pocket. Finally, the frog called out from the pocket, "What is it with you? I told you I'd stay with you, and cook and clean for you and do anything you want me to do. Why won't you kiss me?" The young man took the frog from his pocket and said, "Look, I'm gay. I don't have time for girlfriends

It seems the dark mages - except Worthington/Michael, who is living in shades of gray - are all busy trying to gain supremacy over each other. Worthington's uncle is an example. There are few active dark mages revealed in the story so far, although Worthington's former boarding school appears to be a hotbed of dark activity. The meeting called by Elizabeth and Stacy to deal with the demon problem in the Phoenix area convened only the light mages whom they knew.

Goat Recipe: * 2 T salad oil * 2 lbs. cubed goat meat * 1 tsp. salt * 1.2 tap. garlic powder * 1/4 tsp. oregano * 1/8 tsp. ground cumin * 1 large onion, chopped * 1 T flour * 1 10-oz. can Rotel tomatoes and green chiles * 1 10-oz can water Brown meat in hot oil. Add salt, garlic powder, oregano, cumin and onion. Cook until onion is soft. Sprinkle flour over all and allow to brown, stirring constantly. Add tomatoes and water. Simmer uncovered for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Most of the liquid will be absorbed. Serves 6 (or 24 normal people). Sorry, couldn't find any candles.

In which case, better Jamie than Worthington. I would hope to see Carl/Michael/Jamie/Jeremy all as friends with Carl forgetting of his own volition what Worthington did to him.

If there are any of Dom's completed stories that you haven't read, I would urge you to go ahead and read them now. I recently re-read The Log Way; you may want to read or re-read it to help understand In the Fish Bowl better. As for With Trust, I would wait until Dom finishes In the Fish Bowl to read/re-read it. In short, read anything of Dom's; you'll enjoy it.

Big sigh......it's been four months today since chapter 20 of In the Fish Bowl was released. That's a long time to be without internet service. That can't be it. The new boyfriend must be something else. Maybe Dom is hibernating.

Bummer. I sent him a couple of e-mails, including birthday greetings, and the tracker indicates he hasn't received them. He must have a bluejillion e-mails in his in-box. I'm beginning to think there is something other than internet access delaying Dom's return.

Hooray! Thanks, CJ, for planning ahead and keeping us involved in the story while you are gone. I am enjoying it very much. I hope we have seen the last of the vestal "virgins".

Chapter 13 Thankfully, Brandon does the right thing. He is clearly more mature than Jon and Eric. Great chapter, CJ. Hope you have an awesome trip. We all eagerly await your return and the next installment.
