Just a bit ago I was asked by a member on a yahoo group about my favorite stories here on GA. I could have gone on forever and I probably sound like an advertisement. But it got me thinking.... of how I read ALL of these great stories and I hardly/rarely leave the author's any feedback. It got me wondering what the author's want to hear... sure they probably get a lot of "Great Chapter", "Excellent Work" or "Darn you CliffJames". I feel like I am being redundant when I mention what other people have already said. So normally don't bother saying anything. I guess author's knowing they are appreciated is a great feeling... Maybe I should just try harder to find something to say? Here is the email I sent.... to show some of author's they are greatly appreciated. Any mistake in grammar are because I am tired and have to be at work tomorrow at 8 am for 10 hour shift, I work 4 days 10 hours each (Wednesday-Saturday). I work in a Cell phone call center here in Maryland and commute an hour each way. I do get tons of interesting calls, but that's a whole another blog in itself. Edward

Changing Lanes Chapter 51 & Epilogue
AquariusGuy replied to Drewbie's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
CJ, All around the story was great. The last chapter and Epilogue tied it all together very nice. Glad to see everything worked out for all the people involved. Looking forward to your next story and will miss reading about the guys. Edward -
Can't wait for it to post.

Not able to eat healthy due to allergies? WTF
AquariusGuy commented on AquariusGuy's blog entry in Random Thought's
Good to know I am not the only one with this problem. All my test only showed major reactions to grasses, pollens, dust and mold. Nothing else.... all these cross reactions is a pain. I The doctor said that if I eat the food and itch that it's not a good sign and to avoid the food because I run the risk of having a serious reaction because they can get worse as they go along. They aren't bad enough that I need an eppi pen.... yet. But I make sure to keep track of what I eat in case I need a trip to the ER. The food reactions came after I had a severe allergic reaction to a medication, a muscle relaxer. The hospital said it wasn't the meds, but food. The Allergist said my symptoms fit a medication reaction and not food. I admit being a cook and loving to eat has made it difficult, but since I just started working after long unemployment I can't afford any missed days... since I work in call center for a US based Cell phone carrier. I love to make Italian food which has lots of Tomato Sauce... Lasagna, Spaghetti, Pizza and other things. One of my other favorite foods Stuffed cabbage is cooked in Tomato soup..... So I have been majorly bummed. My co-workers think I am strange since I don't eat much.... Thanks Everyone for your comments.... makes me feel a whole lot better. -
I have been recently diagnosed with have allergic reactions to just about anything/everything I eat. So since my list of what I can eat has been getting smaller and smaller, I decided to try and eat a little more healthy. Turns out I can't even do that due to darn cross reaction allergies. So I a salad, no harm there, right? Wrong. Turns out the dressing has tomato which I am allergic. I did some investigating and lettuce could be the cause too. So according to the National Institute of Health (NIH) and my Allergist I have a huge list of what I can't eat. No banana's, avocado, potato, tomato, kiwi, chestnut, walnut, passion fruit, pear, grapefruit, mushroom, bell pepper, mango, pineapple, celery, cantaloupe, apple, papaya, almond, buckwheat, fig, lettuce, peach, orange, peanut, strawberry, pepper, mustard, watermelon, bamboo shoot, carrot, coconut, apricot, loquat, peppermint, soybean, cherry, nectarine, ..... List of the Suspected Tree and Weed Pollen ragweed, mugwort, timothy, Kentucky blue grass, ..... AND List of the Suspected Medical Plants... Read More Condurango bark, Cannabis, So I love to eat apples, banana's, oranges, watermelon and a bunch of other fruits and when I do it isn't a pleasant result. So here I am trying to do better, when I can't because I am allergic to anything healthy. My friend said hey you'll lose weight quicker because you can't eat anything. Which is true. So it really sucks for me because I LOVE to cook and now most of things I can make I can't eat. So I sit here and wonder what the heck am I going to be able to eat. Just needed to vent. Edward

I had totally forgotten that Eric had invited Jim and Linda to stay at the resort for their Honey Moon. He will be feeling really guilty when he learns their fate, but Jansen will be there to cheer him up. I was also beginning to think something had happened to Jane. I didn't see her name mention for a while and was beginning to think they were going to leave her behind. Now as everyone heads to the airport we hope that their flight out won't be delayed. At least there is no security.... It looks like Deputy Undersecretary Graeme will be one of the few people ever to be fired from the Government. This chapter is full of surprises. It answered some questions and gave me a whole new set to think about. Great Chapter CJ.

All I could think when I read the chapter was HOLY CRAP ! It looks like things hit a bump in the path and if I remember right, isn't everybody good swimmers? The Scar seems to think he got away with it.... but that is to be seen. Maybe he didn't think about all the possibilities and will land up crashing into the volcano. Other than all the drama in the chapter.... it's was a great chapter CJ. Hope Instinct doesn't become Extinct..... Edward

Changing Lanes, Chapter 43
AquariusGuy replied to Former Member's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Great Chapter CJ I really hope that Eric gets to kick the Scar's butt again. That was a highlight of the chapter for me. Pretty funny that the Scar just ran away and didn't try anything else. It also seems likely that Scar might not realize the Fel and the General have met up with Eric and the gang. Seems like the Scar is in for a major surprise. -
Kittens are always full of energy... just give them a while and they eventually become lazy, they always do. My parents had gotten 4 kittens at once and they were always running and jumping on to peoples shoulders. When my parents listed their house for sale (4 years ago) we didn't think anything would happen and we were wrong. One of the male kittens (Jake) decided he wanted to jump on an unsuspecting visitor. Scared the crap out of the lady.... the agent thought it was funny but not the lady. Just be glad you have a small amount of animals.... my parents have 12 cats and 3 dogs. 2 of the dogs are only a year old and still in the puppy phase... giving the cats a run for their money. Oh and your kitty is very cute.... looks like one of the ones we have.

Changing Lanes Chapter 38: Fallen
AquariusGuy replied to Drewbie's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
First.... Great Chapter CJ It really sucks what happened to Jim, Linda and Pvt. Johnson. Brandon is going to be crushed.... It looks like a whole can of worms was just opened and all hell is going to break lose. Edward -
I'm A Brat, But how can you stay mad at this face?
AquariusGuy commented on Meeko's blog entry in What once was is now lost.
I was beginning to think you got lost... since you said you be gone for about a week. It sucks to be sick. I avoid being sick at all costs, which works out since I am rarely sick and when I do (well in the last 2 years) I had to have a visit to the hospital. I HATE hospitals. Glad you are alright. Get better soon. Edward -
Reminds me of a joke which I only remember the ending..... Jesus is coming hide the eggs.

Great Chapter CJ It was good to see Eric and Jansen finally connect. It sucks that they were interrupted by Jane the first time. Maybe the volcano was giving off its own fireworks display for them. It got the volcano real hot.... The General Bradson escaped the blast.... but it appears that he is not out of the woods yet, well not with a gun to his head. I wonder if Felicia is using it as a smoke screen to actually shoot the double crosser. No doubt she knows what is going on. Edward

Contrary to what everyone else says.... Great Chapter CJ If it wasn't for the cliff hangers... there wouldn't be a need to constantly check for the next chapter. It would also make for a very boring story. So where your cliff hanger crown proud. Seems like Jansen and Eric are moving in a positive direction. Hopefully things will progress nicely for them. Things with the General really make me wonder if he's going to make it or not. He and Felicia seems to be coming closer together and I think she will protect General Bradson at all cost. Edward

This is the worst part of the eye exams.... lucky my new doctor has a better machine. They numb your eye and come at you with this thing and it touches your eye and reads the pressure. At the old eye doctor I probably still hold the record for the most attempts... 20 times for each eye... The doctor was soooo pissed I was like how bout we trade places and you tell me how it feels. I have the reverse problem.... since I was seeing my eye doctor every 6 months due to having a total of 4 blind spots (average person has 2 one in each eye and me being lucky I have 2 in each eye) I got my contact prescription updated every time so I could see better with the contacts and not the glasses. I was told that if you start having difficulty with contacts it could be either the prescription or the brand.... at one point it was both for me. The thing I hate the most is when they dilate your eyes and t when are done they want you to choose a frame, like you can really see anything. I always wait and it pisses them off. The call block thing is the worst part of dialing out... especially when you are in a hurry and need to make a call. One company I worked for they blocked long distance calls... but everyone new the long distance passcode. Automated systems are fun.... NOT. I tend to keep pushing "0" until I get a human being. When I was working on a college campus in a cell phone store I had a guy come in because the stupid voice recognition system the phone company used couldn't understand his English, granted he spoke with a German accent.

Great Chapter CJ It does seem that things across the story are "heating up"; The volcano, a possible Eric and Janse relationship, and the Generals rescue mission. Every thing seems to becoming together and hopefully the General and his son make it out alive. Sad thing is we didn't see Chase or Brandon in that last chapter. I wonder if the Scar knows about the volcano brewing on the island. If not he could do himself in if he decides to pay Eric a visit. The whole cliff hanger thing.... at least its not like TV shows where we have to wait months to find out what happens when they end the season with a cliff hanger. Here we only wait days.... which isn't a bad thing. Edward

That was a real interesting twist to make the enemy think a cargo plane went down.... Hope the lemons get put to some good use, have you seen the cost of fruit? They can make tons of things with lemons besides lemonade. Maybe Eric will be able to settle down once he and Jansen get back to California.... I think I figured out why the volcano hasn't gone off yet. It's waiting for Scar to fly over it and it will erupt and foil any plans he may have. It will be interesting to see what really does happen since Scar knows Eric is on the island and has left the General. Death to the Scar by Volcano. Great Chapter CJ! Edward

A great place to find out movies is moviephone.com, but that only works if you have a computer handy. I never knew why Wednesday was hump day until last week.... when it was explained on the radio.

I can't believe we were left with a cliff hanger..... wonder what will happen to Brandon. Maybe Chase will get ESP and know something is wrong. The Scar is back.... so I guess even a Nuclear Bomb can't kill the guy. Maybe the General will realize something is up since they asked about the bomb. What's will it take to kill the scar? Great Chapter as ways! Edward

I can tell you as a manger myself..... It's easier to fire people you don't like, then to fire people you do like. I've had to fire 15 people at various times in career and 7 of those 15 were in one year (just a few weeks apart from one another). There is no easy way to do it.... just think ahead of time of what you want to say. That always worked for me. Good luck with "Ben" -
You might consider checking out Craig's List for a Truck. Bought one on there last year for a decent price..... was older but what the heck.... it still runs.

I can relate on the cat. My parents have 12 fur balls and one of them had a cancer spot on his pawl. The doc's removed it.... he's still going strong 1 year later. He's been wanting all this extra attention. As for back pain..... take your time.... We will wait forever for the next chapter. I've had a kidney stone going for the last 3 weeks.... so I know all about waiting. Take care.

I definitely think you should go. You might not get the chance next time to go on a mission.... you never know what will be happening in your life. So if you got the time and the resources do it. You can always rebuild your savings.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Washington DC traffic. Don't feel bad I have a two hour commute with traffic, but I travel further 48 miles one way (I live in northern Frederick and work in North West). Have a Happy Holiday! Edward
