The blast was deafening—violent, disorienting. Before I could even process the sound, Grandma grabbed my hand. The world folded in on itself. Suddenly, we were back in the hotel room. Grayson and Grace appeared seconds later, both pale but steady. Then another figure materialized near the door. “Everyone here okay?” the stranger asked. “I think so,” Grandma replied, her grip still tight around my hand. “Any idea what happened?” I asked, even though I already kn

The tail of the bounty
AquariusGuy commented on AquariusGuy's story chapter in The tail of the bounty
Yes but at least Noah got to hear an awesome 80's song. Little B was the Bailiff yes... Tristan was either the Judge or the court reporter. There was a comment made that gave away who Tristen is. There was something specifically said. Yes, his grandfather called in a favor that will come back to haunt the Senator.... -

Not quite everyone, as there are more chapters to come and what would Noah's Adventure be without Noah? -

A very distinct possibility. -

Noah, Grace, Grayson and Grandma are all fine. As for Little B... that will be revealed. What if I told you Tristan was in the courtroom? -
The music felt like a warning. We were swept into the courtroom, and my mother still wore that stupid, self-satisfied grin. Rage burned through me. I wanted nothing more than to wipe that smile off her face. Her legal team was dressed to the nines—tailored suits, polished shoes, smug expressions. They looked confident. Too confident. I hoped Grayson and Grace wiped the floor with them. At precisely 9:00 a.m., the bailiff called the court to order. The Honorable Judge Hopkins

Oh just you wait and see what happens next.

LOTS of memories though with background on Shiloh and his bros. They have but things aren't quite as they seem. Just wait.... the song was foreshadowing.

The song is from the genre my parents listened to while I was growing up. It is one song that came to mind when I was trying to come up with something. The bunker is designed for comfort... for all situations.

I took advantage of the brief lull in the frantic search for Little B and turned my attention to Shiloh. “How are you holding up?” I asked, meeting his eyes. There was sadness there—raw and aching—but beneath it burned fury. I knew that look. My mother had hated me for reasons I still didn’t fully understand. For Shiloh, it was worse. It was both his parents. “I thought it was temporary,” he said quietly. “Just until they worked things out. That’s what they told us.” “What ar

I am really looking forward to the new layout. I used it on mobile and sometimes the ads or pops up interfere with my getting to the menu at the top. Thanks for giving the space for folks to interact about so many different topics from reading to the forums. Looking forward to the improved website and everything else coming in 2026. Happy Holidays to my GA family.

There will be some explosion coming… some will we actual explosion and some will be people being angry…

Is your first question to the tune of the song where have the cowboys gone? Killing of Noah’s maternal family is classified. Little B is full of surprises. Cliffs = Always Answers = never

The family Noah is part of is very powerful, connected and very, very wealthy. They have gotten rid of people before but sometimes they come back because hey why not? Some things are going to happen... was the picture a foreshadowing? Will they stop Little B and his accomplice? How is it that Little B knows about Tristan and seems to have powers that his brothers and cousin knew nothing of? I like to keep my readers on their toes and my brain sometimes wanders off.

Uncle Matt, Uncle Nathan, and Uncle Nick launched into explaining the family history to Dame and Dom. While they were talking, we got word that Caleb and his mother had been escorted home safely by the security team. “What Aunt Carly did was stupid,” Little B said out of nowhere. Uncle Matt froze mid-sentence. “What was that?” he asked, staring at his son—who was just sitting at the conference table coloring like nothing was wrong. Everyone went silent. Grandma, especially, had th

I can neither confirm nor deny. Destruction will be led by TWO characters.... both of whom we've met. Some folks are going to have a literal come-to-Jesus moment
-
Drama???? No, it's going to be resolved with flowers and hugs. That doesn't sound right.... guitars and kumbaya
-
Unsettling indeed.... what's life without a little drama?

This is going to backfire on her so fast....

We walked out of the office toward the family room, and Shiloh looked absolutely gutted. I got it. His parents rejected him because he was gay. My mother rejected me for… well, a whole buffet of reasons. Mainly because I look exactly like my father. Brody was sprawled on the floor coloring, and for a second I remembered what it felt like to be that age — zero responsibilities, zero trauma, just crayons and vibes. That’s when I noticed his older brothers sitting on the couch. “Dom, Dame

Oh we definitely have met them… well sorta.

Hmmm… the fun comes from somewhere or should I say someone else.

Most people I knew needed criminal lawyers

Thank for the comment. Grayson and Grace are the only lawyers. Paul is actually Noah's maternal grandfather. I already know what the end plan is for them.

“You were right in your assessment, Grayson,” Grace said, sitting back in her chair. “It was definitely financially motivated.” “How bad are they in debt?” Grayson asked, though I had the distinct feeling he already knew the answer. “Between the loans for cars, houses, and other luxury items, it’s around five million,” Grace said, glancing down at her papers. “Factor in Paul’s gambling debt, and it jumps to around ten.” “Paul has five million in gambling debt?” Grandma gasped. “Ho
