Mark appears in Finding Love and was Matt's best friend. He exploited things that happened to Matt and made money selling the videos. He claimed to have donated the money, but that never happened. -
I sat in the driver’s seat, running my hand over the dashboard, the smooth curve of the steering wheel. My dad’s truck. The one I’d only ever seen in photos. The passenger door opened quietly. “Were you surprised, honey?” Grandma asked as she settled into the seat beside me. “Yeah,” I whispered. “How did you even find it? I never saw the truck—only pictures.” She was quiet for a long moment, her gaze fixed on the windshield. When she spoke, her voice was steady, but her eyes

I have to agree that the letter from Jack's parents was reprehensible. To call themselves Mommy and Daddy is not a title they deserve. They need to go with the vile former dorm figure... what's his name. I am glad that Nick finally cleared the air. Sadly, he sat on it long enough to cause a panic attack (been there, done that). I am glad he recognized he needed help and sought out Miss Charice. This had me laughing as I could totally smell that car myself. Thank you for the wonderful chapter.

Hmmm a quad.... interesting theory.

The backyard buzzed with laughter and music, the smell of grilled burgers drifting through the warm air. I scanned the crowd and froze. There, near the patio, were two other guys I’d never seen before — and they were ridiculously attractive too. I blinked. Where did they even come from? “Penny for your thoughts, dear nephew?” Uncle Nathan said, appearing beside me with his usual knowing smile. “Um…” I stammered, trying not to sound too obvious. “Who are they?” I asked, pointi

it could be a gorgeous friend or I don't know some rando?? -
Uncle Matt’s speech drew plenty of laughs — and more than a few tears. When the ceremony finally ended, we filed out of the arena into the bright afternoon sun. I found Taylor and Jay near the steps and pulled them both into tight hugs. They promised to come by for the cookout later, and just like that, they were swept away into the sea of caps, gowns, and proud parents. I scanned the crowd for my family and spotted a familiar pair — Great Uncle Ted and his husband, Asher. I hadn’t see

A fact I forgot about.

I was so disappointed in Nana Bev.... she needs an AA meeting. I hope she gets sober and becomes the grandmother Jack needs. To be a fly on the wall in the meetings that Nick's mom had. I know the focus was on Jack but what is the school doing for Nick because of the nasty house father. I suggest free everything for the remainder of his time at Harrison West. Nick needs to show his mom those pictures. I would keep them quiet until they are needed but she needs to know.

I don't think we've seen the last of Patricia Hobart. I feel an even more dramatic battle coming from her. Thanks for the excellent chapter.

I walk down memory lane 'Cause I love running into you "How are you? I'm doing great" And I have you back for a few I just love the idea When I see ya in my head That's why I walk down memory lane 'Cause it's the only place That I have you again “Noah, are you awake?” My uncle’s voice drifts through the half-open door, followed by a gentle knock. “Yeah,” I manage, my throat tight. A single tear escapes, tracing a warm path down my che

On the edge of adulthood, Noah Jacobs carries the weight of two absences— a father who died before he took his first breath, and a mother who chose to leave. With high school behind him, he intends to spend the summer alone in the quiet refuge of his father’s old room. But life has other plans, and an unexpected arrival soon alters the course of his grief, his future, and his heart.

I am so glad that Nana Beverly made her appearance. What an awesome surprise from Nick's mom. While the boys have buried the hatchet and made up, I have this feeling that Nick's issue is far from over. Nick's mom seems pretty in tune with Nick and Jack. It seems that she know's that there is something Nick isn't telling her about Jack and the proof that he has. I guess Nick may feel he is protecting Jack by not showing the pictures but not doing so may make things harder and I feel they are going to be the nuclear option in getting Jack's freedom. I am a little late in saying this, but welcome back@LittleBuddhaTW. I really enjoyed your past stories. Thank you for this chapter, and I look forward to the next one.

Oh... or another curveball... take what @SilentandBroken said.... she meets Miss Charice and decides, hey let's move to Michigan. She joins Miss Charice and becomes the house Grandmother or maybe a school benefactor. So many possibilities... almost like a Campbell's Soup commercial (this is a nonpaid/non-sponsored plug).

My thoughts exactly. Glad Jack made the call... sounds like an interesting weekend is going to be upon us.

I don't think creep accurately describes Johnston's behavior. I am not even sure there is a word for that vile scumbag. He'll be Satin's bottom soon enough. Miss Charice sounds like she is going to bring some sage advice to the group. Hope things move in a positive direction... although I feel that something is on the horizon for Jack. Did he get to call his Nan? Thanks for the great chapter.

I am sensing a Mr. Johnson situation that will bring Mr. G back. Jonah is a kid being a kid. As my Doctor said yesterday, just because you have some of the symptoms/signs doesn't mean you have it. Did it cross my mind that maybe he is ADHD or a super hyperactive kid... sure, but it is bringing chaos to the story and what is a story without chaos? Thanks for the great chapter.

That was a surprise and not on my list of possible master minds. Thanks Mark for the chapter.

Does anyone have a friendly poltergeist haunting their house?
AquariusGuy replied to Page Scrawler's topic in The Lounge
Not traditional poltergeists… I have several cats and what I think is a dog based on the size and where it lays on the bed. -
I've been pretty distracted lately

Hope it's nothing too serious. I also hope you'll get a little R&R from teaching.
