I thought they would make it to the cabin as well Shadow086. Comsie has a flair for creating anxiety in us readers. Keeps us on the edge of our seats. I Would not want it any other way. I somehow think that Wesley has some special kind of strength or power that will surprise everyone like he did on the roof of the cabin in the woods. He is about to go fight the pack to protect his friends. Maybe we will see that he is a different stronger powerful hybrid. HOPING!

So unfortunate that celebrity status destroys so many of our young talented kids. Nick, his brother had a difficult time with his fame and money. Aaron was raised in his brothers shadow following Nicks success. Aaron was having a great time of course as he adored his big brother, but as soon as Nick was too old to monetize any longer, they grabbed his cute kid brother and capitalized on him. I saw Nick back in about 2002 or there about. I was in Key West where the Carters lived at the time for an offshore boat race that Nick and his father were racing in. Nick was wasted drunk and all the "real boat racers" that I was with laughed behind his back at him. They did not give a crap about his celebrity or his money. Once the fame is gone the kids mentally nosedive. and it messes them up. The family is one tragedy after another. His sister died in her early twenties unexpectedly and Aarron had a hard time with his sister's death. Condolences to his family and friends. Another victim of corporate greed and their handlers. Imho

Well hopefully this won't be the case. When a parent thinks that they lost a child it is emotionally devastating. He will probably be so happy that Wesley is alive and back that he will listen to him. If not, I believe that with Wesley having been changed that he will not be timid this time. I believe that he will stand up to his father and if he won't listen, he will leave.

I have the same concerns. After his dad thinking he had lost him, will he continue to not listen to his son. It appears that he was emotionally devastated at thinking he could be dead. Let us just hope that he will finally take Wesley seriously for a change.

Comsie. TFC You know this is my favorite of all your stories and I loved this chapter! I am anxious to see the dynamics of how Wes and Isaac are going to explain to everyone, including law enforcement that have been searching for Wes, where he has been and what they are up against. (Does law enforcement already know about Cyrus and clan? After Virgil knowing, it would be unlikely that others are not aware. Also, I can't wait to see how the reunion with Wes' family (mainly his dad) goes. Will his dad finally show Wes the attention he has craved and treat him more than just an object to do as he says. From what Kyla said it appears that his dad finally realized what Wesley meant to him after he thought he had lost him. I am hopeful for how the reunion goes and if dad will listen and believe what Wes tells them. Bests to you as always!

At this point Deke doesn't understand anything about vampires and what it would mean to turn and become one. Deke would have a really hard time leaving his dad so I have to think something bad will happen to his dad. That would free him emotionally to go with Colby. I also think that Deke is going to try and throw Gideon off the trail, pissing them off, havoc ensues, dad gets involved protecting his son... and dad gets taken down. Just one possible direction IMHO 😜

In chapter 51 It stated that JJ's condo was purchased for around 50 million, not the 25 that the brownstone was selling for.

I think that from having been sick for so long to now miraculously be healthy and soon to find out strong & fast will help Richie accept being a vampire a lot easier than others that were unaware when turned. Having his best friend Justin whom he trusts guiding him on what is required being a vampire will ultimately get him through the hard part of how they have to feed. The most difficult obstacle Justin is going to deal with is when he tells Richie that he can never SEE or let his mother know he is healthy again. Richie will not deal well that she will always wonder what happened to him. I am really looking forward to how Richie's "discovery" plays out. Excellent chapter Comsie!

I am guessing that the few "glitches" Jeremy said regarding Richie is when he spiritually went to find his "Sire" and best friend Justin. Richie has more common sense than his best friend and is the stronger of the two of them mentally. I hope that since Justin is his sire that Richie and Justin have a unique connection or bond, that Richie adds some stability to his friend and helps him make the right decisions going forward. It would be cool if Richie naturally inherited a lot of Justin's extras by being sired by the mimic and then helps protect his sire. Great chapter and as always, Bests to you Comsie!
