We sailed to the Cay, I didn’t know how long it would take but we had lunch and dinner on the boat. Captain even enticed me into doing a little fishing, that was fun. It was late evening when we arrived at the Cay. We docked the boat in the cove facing the mountain next to a rather large sailing ship. I quickly found out that was home for the Captain. Thank you. My stories come to me in my dreams. Something I have read or seen triggers a thought process that results in my dreams. I can't explain it, but once the idea solidifies, I can develop the story. I don't know who my muse is, but he has led to my stories.

I think in those days the captains had to maintain their ships at sea, the crew didn't get much money, mostly rum and food. Their cost of living was small. At their base they did have a home, and they were paid a percentage of the haul, so to speak. The Captain received a percentage. If you were in a group, then the owner of the ship received in then neighbor hood of 60 to 75 percent, but he had to maintain the ship..

Where did you get the idea I might be sadistic? I'm not sadistic, just the opposite, if I had my way, every child would be loved. If my story convinces one person to do something to help a child, I'd be over the moon. Thanks for reading and commenting

You need to know me. I learned a long time ago, imagination is better than any written words. This story was about Jim, not the boys. Although the boys were needed to bring us to understand Jim.
