    Chapter 3

Dad Jim followed me, when I opened the door there was Roger with a woman who I suspect was his mother. I open the door wider, Roger stepped inside followed by the woman. “Josh, this is my mother, Mom, this is Josh.” “How do you do, this is my father Jim and the man coming behind me is my father Ron. Come on in. Could I get you a cup of coffee or a glass of wine?” My dads smiled, “I see you have trained your son to be the perfect host. My name is Carol. Roger told me that you invited him

    Chapter 2

No you didn't miss a line. But you can add up the hints. He's a loner as far as playing sports, he stays by himself, the boys don't include him any of the games, a form of isolation, and Josh's gay alarms are going off like crazy. It's obvious to Josh, that Roger is gay, the attention Roger gives Josh after the game, more or less indicates Roger likes Josh. Now next chapter

    Chapter 2

You're right, for some winning is everything, and they will do anything to win. What they lose playing that way, they will regret later in life when people turn their backs on them. Age brings wisdom, for some, and hopefully these kids with the cleats will learn something.

    Chapter 2

Saturday came, Dad and I went into the city and brought a rugby ball for Dawson. I was surprised to see that they even had one in stock. The salesman told me that a lot of colleges play rugby, that surprised me. I also bought a rugby shirt for Dawson. “Have fun, try to make some friends.” I took my gifts for Dawson and headed to his house. Knocking on the door, Dawson opened it with his sister behind him, “Happy birthday. I bought you this, it’s a rugby ball. I hope you like it. I wasn’t

    Chapter 1

I didn't know what rugby was until I looked onto it several years ago. Some of us at that age were pretty innocent about the world of spots. I did know about soccer because I grew up in a town with a lot of immigrant's children. So soccer, I knew. Rugby, I didn't. In all of the years I spent in Great Britain, I never had a hot dog or have I seen a restaurant that served them. Sausages yes, hot dogs, no. Hot Dogs are an American invention 😀

    Chapter 1

“Dad, I don’t want to leave. All my friends are here and I just made the rugby squad. Do we really have to move?” “Yes, I told you Josh, I have to go where the job is. I’m sure after you get settled in your new home you’ll like it.” Josh wasn’t so sure. He didn’t like change and had a hard time when he had to leave school for a private school when his father moved too Nottingham. Change was something that was hard for Josh but there was another reason, Josh had found a boyfriend and now

    Chapter 12

Just between you and me, yes I've thought about Book 2, but I need time. So I have a few stories to post, that are a little lighter in content. I always thought what would I do if I had a few million. There is a story behind this story. New York City has a lot of boys working the street, the gay parlors, looking for money to be able to buy something to eat. I was there for a meeting and walking back to the hotel, this young boy, probably 16 or 17, was asking for money, looking into his eyes, you could tell he was hungry, I never saw pleading eyes like he had. I gave him some money. He looked at it, then me. A beautiful smile, "thanks mister". You would have thought I gave him a million, it was forty dollars, the change from my dinner. I tell you this because when I wrote this story, that young man was Toby.
