    Chapter 2

I can understand Jim's enthusiasm, I also would have like to try doing that, never had the time, but I think I could have handle fairs, etc. but not full time. Let's see where Jim takes this. He's capitalizing on his one exceptional skill.

    Chapter 3

I think Jim's mother knows why Donnie was on the street. He must have told her when she took him to get his haircut, health certificate and clothes. Jim, didn't know the why, but he knew he was on the street.

    Chapter 3

After Donnie finished eating, I cleaned up the kitchen and got ready to take him to retrieve his belongings. Once he had his duffel bag, I put it in the trunk and headed for home. “Mom, this is Donnie, he’ll be working with me on the food truck.” “It's nice to meet you Donnie. I’m glad Jim has somebody to help him. Jim, if you all get cleaned up, I'll fix you boys a snack” “Donnie, come with me and I'll show you where you can wash up.” Donnie followed Jim upstairs. Opening the door t

I was unaware of what was included in such courses. So I checked out the internet and found several sources that indicated how to develop pricing, that is what I included in the story.

    Chapter 2

Jim has a good heart and has found his niche. I wish him luck but wouldn't be surprised he finds out he needs additional help. His food will sell like hot cakes 😉

    Chapter 2

A food truck is quite larger than an ice cream truck, at least the ice cream truck I saw. Parking at an industrial park has advantages, customers close by. Traveling not needed and it its guarded. Donnie is over 16, so child labor laws really aren't going to be a problem. In fact if I remember you could work for a certain number of hours per week, until you were 18. I worked in a supermarket 16 hours a week when I was 16

    Chapter 2

Jim got ready for work but continued to think about what a mobile kitchen would or could include. At work that evening he mentioned to the cook about the concept of a mobile kitchen. “Jim, what you are talking about is a food truck. Check it out on the Internet when you go home.” That evening Jim went on the Internet and checked out various food trucks. He found they came in various sizes and different equipment, depending on the size of the truck. The next morning at breakfast he t

    Chapter 12

You're welcome. In my travels I have met a lot of boys who could have but didn't end up as Toby would have if it wasn't for Jeff. What hurt me the most, when a hungry child was chased away. I saw a cook throw food away rather than give it to a child. When I saw that, I was angry. Told the child, he was 15, the food would have killed him, took him to a nice restaurant, bought his dinner made sure he had a doggie bag. I asked him where he lived, he said he and three other boys live in a room. I think when I gave him some money, he was ready to kiss me. There were tears in his eyes. I had a flight leaving the next morning. I often thought about that lad. He would be in his thirties if he was still alive.

    Chapter 1

It will be a little different. I wrote this story as a possible encouragement to those students that, or several reasons, can't go to college. If they have one skill, with encouragement, they can find a fulfilling job or career.

    Chapter 1

The loaves refers to a loaf of bread. There is no plural to 'loaf" when it means to idle your time, at least Goggle replied. Probably loaf is a slang usage representing idle time. I've always used the term, 'loaf around', "whatcha doing, nothing just loafing around. What do you do when you loaf? Nutin" 😅
