And that, I'm thankful for 👍 And you gave us laughs, and heart (pun intended) and insight. I guess, I can wait with getting wiser until the next chapter 😅

At least, now, Grey is ahead of Dave with something, and can share his experience, like Clara does otherwise most of the time. So, Clara, loving her brother and all, but not expecting him being good at anything 😂 Well, at least, of all the things and hardships of this journey, the wolves have not lost their manners ^^ But in conclusion, we can't say, we are much wiser now 😄 At least, Clara and Grey are on good terms again now. And thanks for making me laugh—and this, not just one, I might add

Yes, I know, werewolves are typically depicted as the latter, but by the way you let the wolf speak, I can't see him any different than the former—except for when they shift—but even then, when it's not the pack attacking strangers, I imagine Grey and Mark to be something more in between 🤔
-
Maybe you should ask your wolf …? 🤔😉 I find it rather fascinating that Clara was able to not be bothered by everything else before—which has already been a lot—so, she kinda had it coming, it was only a matter of time. And reasonable: They both care for Dave, they just had different assumptions of what would be best for him. Consider her perspective: If turning Dave wouldn't have worked—Grey could not know that for sure, especially since it rarely seems to—Dave might be worse than when he were dead. In that case, keeping him alive despite the state he would be in then, could be seen as quite selfish from her perspective.

😂 @akascrubber It would be interesting if there was a prude wolf? Can prude wolves even be naturally born? If not, do prude humans stay prude when turned? @mikedup @chris191070 "Feel good"? I suffered with Dave. The chapter was good, granted, pretty good even, but without the "feel"—at least for me 😉😅

Always a pleasure, fellow writer 😉 As Rumpelstiltskin used to say in Once Upon a Time: "All magic comes with a price, dearie"

I know, show, don't tell and all, but dropping the name of the most mysterious character as of now just like that … feels a little … anticlimactic to be honest 😬 Not entirely—slow, just slow, according to Edna. Oh, what you put us through! 😨 And we thought, Mark's disappearance was the most shocking event to date! But what am I complaining? I mean, I do like this more than romance 😅 Interesting to see that, despite being surprised by both having children at all and it being two sons as well as Beatrice's intervention, Theodore seems to be holding the upper hand—the high ground, so to speak. @centexhairysub In a way, she was. But, knowing drown, there might be more to this and maybe, even Beatrice's motives might not be entirely pure. What do we really know for sure at this point? Too bad, I could have philosophized about the odds of turning Dave—not gonna happen now 🤷♂️ @centexhairysub Well, judging by the description of Theodore, if he's dead, Mark would be, too, right? But when Theodore can return, that also means, so could Mark, couldn't he? 🤔

Sorry for all the detours in my story, but that's just how my head works, in general 😅 Everything comes with a fun fact as a footnote 😉 I actually wrote a blog post about the apparent need to come out. When I wrote the chapter, I didn't seem to know the term "microaggression" 🤔 ^^ Yeah, I stopped coming out a few years ago in my mid-twenties, and since then, it's not a big deal anymore. Funnily enough, once I started to just casually drop that fact within a conversation where it seemed needed, it wasn't such a big deal for the other person anymore either as compared to the "I have to tell you something …".

So you kinda also have an ex gay husband. We'll see where the similarities end 😉

Damn, I thought, I'd be off the hook for now! All the effort … for nothing 😂😂😂 Well, by now, you should know my humor a tiny bit 😉 To that, my only answer is: (English translation) -

Aaaaaand that's probably, why they won't. What a refreshing little poem … In the whisper of the dusk, where secrets lie, some of which not even fully know I. Three threads entwine, fate’s silent decree, honestly, doesn't that, too, confuse the heck out of thee? In shadows’ embrace, beneath the sky, still wondering do I A hidden path, only the chosen see, it makes me furious, that it doesn't include me. A wolf, a man, and … what the fuck is he? Not to mention the druid—how old is she? Their journey woven by the threads so keen. That still I don't know the answers, for sooth, is mean. Through labyrinth’s heart, under moon’s serene, Destinies converge, yet remain unseen. —The Labirinthoset Papyrus -

So, you say, Dave will now just use his pendant, Mark will wait wherever this will lead them and this will also coincidentally be or not be (more conflict) where they have to go anyway? -

I mean, who doesn't remember, Merry and Pippin being vaporized in Lothlórien, before Frodo and Sam being allowed to see Galadriel's mirror? Likewise, I don't remember the transporter chief scrubbing the floor after each teleportation 🤔 Reminds me more of the agony booth. Making Star Trek R-rated … Devious little igelchen writing about mischievous vanilla heart attack Edna … -
Chapter Twelve: Labirinthoset

No worry, Grey, even die-hard Star Wars fans have heated debates about the meaning of "bringing balance to the Force" 😉 You're still surprised, Grey? Well, nobody has been in there for millennia. Maybe for a reason. Maybe, knowledge about this is inaccurate or downright lost. Shocking, but refreshingly unexpected indeed 👍 I can't help the feeling, this platform's intent is to "untwist" 🤔 Sounds like someone needs some oneiromancy sessions … Seems like some kind of foreshadowing. Yet again, these were merely the words, Deia said the evening before.- 62 comments

Sure thing! It's the least I can do. No problem, take your time. Fingers crossed, that you can smooth the waters 😉

Into a Dagobarian hut … well, Maio's sure way more artistically gifted than Yoda is So, indeed more like Rivendell/Lothlórien. Ideal for the human form-only non-raw/processed-meat vegetarian Sun and moon. is it though? 😏 I mean, additionally to the revelations of the last days, I assume, they all had … revelations about … bees and flowers. A confused slow little god who hears voices, apparently. Helped by his love interest, showing god-like powers to help him. I can imagine, he feels like that about his Dave stripping. Sounds like German AstroTV 🤔 It's the reader's fault, for sure 😉 I'm sure, we can resolve this without involving planes … I guess, crying over spilled soup would be more in order than over milk if it wasn't for Maio As Shinedown says it in Symptom of being human,

Well, for now, they are very much alive—and attacking strangers. Because of them talking, or because of what she overhears? 🤔 Seems to be hotter than Dave, then 😜 So, it smells like mischievous vanilla heart attack vanilla. So, druids smell either like this (horny mode) or like pine and roses (decent mode). Apparently, no envy of the competition here ^^ Like Clara. So Grey is now slow AND has a dumb name? He's just got so much in common with Dave! Very observant of you, Maio, but I guess, Dave already called dibs on that observation. So, a little like Elven settlements in The Lord of the Rings? Now we have Diagon Alley but with desert elves. I suspect you are either much different in real life or you're underestimating yourself. Druids aka the best people™️ The wolf? Well, maybe, he speaks the guardian's language and never told Grey. Yes, Grey says, they speak, but most of what we've seen of them wasn't speaking. So maybe, honesty and transparency is a one-way street there. 🤔 Well, if you put it this way … maybe Wepwawet is the more exciting name after all 🤔 Well, now he can be angry at Beatrice. Everything seems to be leading back to her. Well, only in meaning, less so geographically or in whatever dimension she is now. Whoa! You mean, the cooked soup will return everything to a raw and separated state, when eating? Well, that's a little terrifying—especially with the onion, I might add ☝️ No chance, you're stuck with us now, I suppose. Serves you dealer right, after getting us all hooked 😜
-
I can see how this resolution is a bit … anticlimactic 😅 However, I'm in favor of an open ending most of the time. They'll have one more stop—and who knows what will happen 🤷♂️ But then, we have this section from the previous chapter:

We were sitting at a knee-high wall in the backyard of the motel, barely covered by the porch roof, while raindrops were falling from the summer night’s sky. That picture in itself had a certain beauty. “So, what now?” Rhys broke the silence. “Quod esset demonstrandum,” I replied. “On the other hand: I realized something else tonight: Was us heading for the border really primarily romantic, or was it running away? I mean, I never felt closer to you than last night, when we kinda pushed

Yep, out of the five main actors, only one is an actual actor and this particular actor was replaced in later seasons. But Leo's grandmother is actually an actress, for example. The young actors are just people from the queer club that created the project. You can see Daniel Kosic clearly getting to his limits when he's task to play angry because his friend is in coma, but he just can't. That's not his fault, though. Given that they all aren't actors, the script has to account for that. But maybe, their limits just weren't known until they were met. Well, it was drama with high stakes. The ending brought everyone to tears, I'm sure, but this is similar to how I wrote a story (not inspired by the ending). It's consequential, because the built-up is leading to this, and having a deus ex machina recovery at the end would be mere fan service. However, the last season was quite grim in tone and a little focussed on that one particular story line. Season two also had a storyline, they primarily focussed on, but it wasn't that dominant, if memory serves me. What I love about the series, is that it is not the nth coming-out show and doesn't always focus on being queer.

See? They want the drama themselves 😜

Err, no. Ultimately, not. But Mark found him anyway. Well … he did anyway. Not before being chained at least. By the way, is it weird, that in the flashbacks, I can't help but imagine the pack members as wolves and am always slightly confused at first when they do human things? 😅 Isn't that a proof of that that pack's inadequacy? Well, maybe, Grey mixes these two up, too 😉 And who knows what kind of games, Grey and Dave are about to play in the basement … Mark: "I want to humiliate Grey in front of the whole pack, including the alpha." drown: "No problem. I'll have that arranged. 🤝" Five contemporary chapters, then one flashback—seems like a good ratio to me 👍
