I'm glad that Olek is alright and that he just passed out from the tense situation in the room with Ms Baldwin. I hope that This consortium doesn't try anything like this again otherwise it might just get more intense with more of their people winding up in the morgue. I'm glad that everyone is fine with no injuries after the shooting that took place in the house.

I almost wish they had allowed Katrina to rip the bitches head off. I'm sure Eric has the best birthday he's had in a long time. Since he's now part of the family he'll have these kind of birthdays especially when he gets woken up with a warm mouth bobbing up and down by his husband. I'm really getting to like Boris and the Yuri, they're both great men in their own right. The fact that Olek came in and wouldn't look Peter or Eric in the eye said a lot about how he felt. When Peter went to Olek and Olek wouldn't even hug his brother like he would any other time, Peter took the initiative and drew Olek into a great big hug and then Eric hugged him. Eric told Olek that he had watched the clips of Olek and Penney having sex but not making love. There was no kissing and no oral satisfaction on either side, this told Eric what he needed to know that there was no love for Penney at all. I hope that Olek continues his relationship with Helga and that it'll lead to a possible engagement and marriage.

I'm glad that Yuri made it clear that Penny is in the Makarovian embassy and that she was subject to the laws of that country. Yuri also told her that all of the information they have on her was sent to Great Britain and also to the British Prime Minister so if she had to be released to that country they would have all of the evidence on her so they could prosecute her as well. Under Makarovian law any member of the royal family could act as a judge to try her. I'm hoping that since Olek is personally involved he would think about having one of the other members of the family take on the responsibility for the trial. I'm glad that everyone had a good visit with Mrs Sams.

I'm glad that Milo and Bren were found by someone from Makarovia and they were willing to help them first by taking them to another mine that wouldn't be used again and getting them some food. I'm sure that their nightmare might be over now.

As nice as it is that Eric's grandmother was there visiting then they start getting ready to go to bed, Eric notices he had another email from Drew in it was another section of the journal that's had been translated into English. The more that Eric read the more upset he became this section started to deal with when they were sent to the camp and the abuse started on Bren, the abuse he suffered was totally uncalled for. The Nazis should have been made to suffer the way that they treated the prisoners. I know that all Germans are to be blamed for the way that some of them treated others. I hope that Eric can let it go like he should. I hope that he'll show this email to his grandmother to show her why he's so sad. The inhumane treatment of the people in the Concentration Camps during WWII was totally uncalled for, except for the need of others that decided that they were second class citizens and not worthy of having a life of their own. I hope that when I read the next chapter that I find out that at time while all the Nazis were busy trying to put out the fire, that Milo and Bren were able to escape from the camp before Bren suffered any more abuse. I'm glad that you put this in the story because it goes along with the story of how Makarovia became what it is today, it was hard to read as well as it was for you to write it. Thank you for writing these great stories.

I'm liking the way that drew sent the parts of Milo's journal to Eric and the picture of Milo and Bren in 1938 on a beach in France, this is the picture that was all messed up. I'm glad that Mrs Sams was able to come visit Eric and Peter in their new home and she was welcomed by Yuri and Boris. Eric is starting to worry about his grandmother's safety once she returns home. I like Yuri has also had the same thoughts only he told Eric that she would have to say that she needs the protection because otherwise she will feel overwhelmed.

I think it would be more publicity for the guys if they went on the Ellen DeGeneres show. I'm glad that Yuri is there to provide protection for Peter and Eric because of the possibility that someone might have a great despise of the homosexuals out in the world. I'm also glad they have Penny there for publicity and social media. I'm jealous of the guys as they have a chef trained at the Cordon Bleu in France.

I'm wondering what's up with the house for it to suddenly become available and no one knows what happened to the owner. What's with the idea of the forigen currency that was used to renovate the house. I'm glad that Peter & Eric understand the need for security especially after they saw the protesters outside the house this morning. I believe that Peter and Eric are very appreciative of Boris and Yuri and all they do. I agree that this whole house situation is just a bit suspicious.

Thank you for being such a great writer, I don't know how you can do so many stories at once.

I have to say that now that I went back and started from the beginning of the story and not at the beginning of the 2nd book it makes more sense to me know. I want to say thank you for setting me on the right track so I finally have a clue about the characters. I'm glad that Eric is somewhat getting used to the idea that he's a part of the royal family of Makarovia now and that comes with changes in the way things are done. Now onto chapter 2.

This was a very very good story, I wish I had found it before I started reading Sophomore year. I'm glad that Eric is starting to get used to his title and the necessity for the security detail. I'm glad that Eric has gotten used to the stares and the people who start talking in whispers about the royal couple out enjoying London. I can't wait to start reading the next story again now that I can understand who everyone is and the parts they play in the story.

I'm really enjoying this story. I can only imagine what stories are hidden in the testimonials and tapes. I hope that Milo's journal will tell about the life he and Bren had after they came to live in Makarovia as well as what hardships they dealt with while still in Germany. I hope that once all of the testimonials, photos and tapes have been translated and digitized Drew is able to get a great story from them, not only talking about what happened to them in Germany but the lives they were able to make for themselves after getting to Makarovia. I believe the friendship between these two couples will get stronger with time.

I like the way that Eric woke up Peter on his birthday, and then he gave him his gift which was a set of cards a little bigger than the standard playing card. The cards were the positions of the Gay Man's Kama Sutra and The Joy of Gay Sex. After their session in the morning Peter took Eric to Rysy Lake, this place holds special meaning to Peter due to that being the last memory of the three guys Olek I, Olek II, & Peter. They went on a camp out the year before the king died. Peter and Eric went back to the palace for the party that Allah planned with guests attending Fedir & his husband Kurt, Dan & Dimitri from the Grotto, David & Helen Burke, Edmond & Eloise Hammond, and Helga. I'm glad that Peter acted surprised by the party even though he knew about it from Eric who told Peter when they were at the lake.

I really like the way that Olek, Peter and Eric are planning ahead for the infrastructure of Makarovia. They're also planning on ways to keep the power on even in the harsh winters they have. I hope that Allah is going to be able to make up for the shortage of medical facilities and staff, I know she's asked some Dr's to come in and give immunizations to the children and check ups for everyone else.

This was another really fantastic chapter. I'm glad that Eric has some help with the organization of all of the testimonials. Fedir seems to know what's in all of the boxes, the photos, tapes, and testimonials. I'm sure that when Eric & Peter take all of the boxes with them and give them to Drew so he could take all of the photos, tapes and testimonials and digitize them he'll be able to put a great story to report about. I really think Fedir said it right when he said to mourn those who didn't make it and to remember those who who had a victory. Those who made it out were happy because they had a victory and they lived happy productive lives. I'm also happy for Olek as he might've found someone who he could settle down with and possibly have an heir to pass the crown to when the time comes.

I think that after the talk that Eric, Peter and Georg just had and after Georg reads some of the testimonials he just might change his way of thinking. I agree with some of what droughtquake said about there being a lot more than just Germans that believe the Holocaust needed to happen. I for one have a great respect for the survivors of it, and those who were in the camps. I think that it was a great thing for Makarovia to open it's borders and accept those who were fleeing the Germans and other countries who were persecuting homosexuals. Makarovia said come live here and be safe, and they did come by the thousands. This part of the story is like a history lesson, I said before that I love the story and continue to do so with each new chapter.

I think Helga is going to be another great asset into the documents found that Eric plans to put on the website. Georg is going to be a tough one to get through the bigoted way he was raised. I hope that Helga and Olek start dating, I think they'll make a great couple.

I'm glad that this chapter is done it was so emotional. I'm glad that I wasn't the one who started reading those letters I would have been the one who went looking for the Germans. I hope that Eric, Peter, and Olek can put those letters out of their minds. I'm glad that Eric wants to put those letters on the website for Makarovia showing how they took in all of the people who otherwise would have been killed, if not tortured and then killed.

I'm glad that Eric's grandmother gave him the advice that she did, it made him realize that he had been doing what she said his grandfather was doing. I'm also glad that Eric is following through on his promises to help the people of Makarovia who are not able to get out during the winter, so he and Peter talked to the General's about using a vehicle that is able to get through the snow so that they can go help people who can't get out. I like the idea that David came up with for the terrace gardens, by using heavy-duty plastic sheeting they're able to extend the growing season past it's normal time. One thing that Eric and Peter picked up on right away was that the trash was gone and there was an airman cutting the grass.

I hated to read about an attempted bombing because 3 men decided that it was wrong of Peter and Eric for being in love with one another. It's to bad that the driver was killed by the bomb meant for Peter and Eric, I don't understand the reasoning of these people who are so wrapped up in their religion saying that something is against Allah but yet they're ready to set off a bomb and commit suicide even though suicide is against Allah as well. Even though the dinner was interrupted by the bomb, and after Olek, Peter, Eric and General Hammond went to a security holding area where the two men who were in on the attempted bombing were being held when General Hammond started to ask questions they started to loudly speak in their own language that what Eric and Peter are doing is against Allah as well as being against nature, General Hammond punched one of the men and then proceeded to inform them that they were to speak English. Then Olek tells General Hammond to get the men out of the country asap. When Eric and Peter drug Olek out of the area instead of going straight back to the dinner they took Olek to the roof and calmed him down before going back to finish the dinner. The next night was the proposal ceremony itself which I think goes well.

Eric is going from being just Eric Richards of Charleston, S.C. to being Prince Eric of Makarovia. It's all because he spoke Russian and Ukrainian that his economics professor paired him with Peter and the two of them seemed to hit it off almost from the start, and during that time Eric never knew Peter was a Prince of a country he'd never heard of before.

I'm glad that Eric's grandmother was able to make the trip for the engagement ceremony, I think she'll love it in Makarovia. The next two people who arrived were Drew and his husband Wayne, drew was a reporter for the BBC and is very involved in the LGBT and the issues associated with it. The reason Drew was chosen was because of the work he's done for the LGBT. I hope that everything goes well for the ceremony. I'm glad that Eric's grandmother was so readily accepted by Olek and Alla after they were introduced by their titles by Eric. After the introductions were done Olek and Alla told Eric's grandmother to call them by their names as they were all family since Peter and Eric would be engaged for sure on Saturday of that week.

I'm glad that Eric is being patient enough with Peter because he doesn't understand much of what happens outside of Makarovia due to him being sheltered for much of his life. I'm glad that Peter has Eric to explain the way the world works as far as being gay goes. Eric has Peter to show him the ways in which Makarovia is different and what it's like to be royalty. I'm really loving the story, I'm loving it more with every chapter as it seems like the love between Eric and Peter just gets better with every chapter.

I think Eric has the right idea about what press to invite to the engagement dinner and ceremony, if they invite someone who doesn't have any ties to the gay community then they stand a chance that the article won't come out the way they want it to. Eric did a bit of searching for the right people who were like them, and he found out that the BBC has a gay reporter from the BBC. Thank you

I liked the meeting that was held at the castle, where David, Helen, and Edmond had dinner with Peter, Eric, Olek and Alla. Many things were discussed including the engagement ceremony where Eric would have to prove to the people of Makarovia that he was sincere and that he was going to be working for the betterment of Makarovia.
