  1. Parker I have to say that the more I read of the story the more that I can understand why Andy took off after he was talking to the police about his dad. I have read all of the comments left by other readers and I can honestly say that the title was a bit misleading for the chapter but it becomes clear what was meant by departures with Zander going to the meet almost all of the way across the state and Andy making a right of passage that every teen yearns for the learners permit for driving. Once they were on the less traveled roads Garrett started asking Andy questions about how he and Zander met and then when they started to fall in love with each other and Andy got to ask questions of his own and he found out that the rest of the family doesn't know about him yet because Garrett and Monica are waiting to be sure that Zander and Andy will tough it out and stay together. Andy got a call from Kaz about the run tomorrow morning since they didn't run or do weights Friday afternoon due to the fact that Garrett took Andy to get his learners permit. Andy thought Kaz was calling back about something else but it was Zander who was calling to tell Andy about all the guys sneaking out to go to a party. Zander also told him that he wasn't going or hanging out with any of the other swimmers because he had a wonderful boyfriend at home who was better than anyone else around him. I hope that Zander and Andy make it and that their relationship grows stronger with time.
  2. I liked the way this chapter started Andy became the scared person he was when he was home again and the letter from the school came and of course it upset his dad. Only this time it wasn't as bad as he thought it was, the letter only said that he would have to take a pair of trunks to school starting on Monday because the class would be starting to swim as part of their grade. Garrett was going to go to the school and talk to the principal about getting Andy out of it. Zander solved the problem by talking to the coach about him giving Andy the swimming lessons when they get to the school after their run in the mornings. Zander gave Andy the board shorts and told him about him talking to the coach and getting permission to teach Andy privately due to the extenuating circumstances of the scars on Andy's back and not wanting to show anyone. When Zander explained all of this to Andy he just stood there for a bit not moving and then he took off his shirt and then got into bed with Zander. I'm sure that was a big step for Andy, then for Zander to kiss each scar just showed the love he has for Andy. The date on Saturday night was Andy's idea as well as paying for their dinner that they had at the diner downtown and then Zander telling Andy that the guy he was competing against was trying like crazy to shake Zander up enough to get him to lose some time. I know Andy was thinking that Zander was going to break up with him and that was why he was telling him all about it. I'm glad that Zander went on to tell Andy that he had outed himself to the guy by telling him that his boyfriend was all he needed and he might be jealous of the advancements the guy was making, as it turns out, the thoughts of Andy is what gave Zander the spur he needed to beat the other guy. After dinner they walked to the park to go skating and then Zander stopped at a spot and then he told Andy that was where he was when he saw him sitting on the branch and he knew he would have to find you and get to know him. I'm glad that the more he sees Dr O'Shea the easier it is to talk about why he decided to run. As well as what it was like when his mom left and his dad telling him that it was his fault she left. Then when Uncle Ray came to stay with them for a month and then molesting Andy then when Andy told his dad about uncle Ray doing what he was and then his dad calling him a liar and then getting beat so much that he had to stay home from school the next day. Andy's life is such a great big mess that it's probably going to take many years of therapy before Andy finally gets to the point where he feels like his life is histo live the way he wants. I hope that the judge gets the information he needs soon as to whether Andy will be arrested or not in the death of his dad. I'm sure that Andy's going to need a lot more time with the Stevenson's getting praise and being shown love without any repercussions for not doing something right. I truly believe that this is just what Andy needs to start down the road to as near a recovery as possible. Thanks for writing such a great chapter and story.
  3. I'm glad that Andy has someone special in his life now to do something for on Valentine's day especially since he never had a reason for doing anything like he did for Zander and his parents. I think it's great that the Stevenson's have found someone like Dr O'Shea for Andy to talk to about the things that he went through after his mom left. The list of chores on the refrigerator were for both boys to do throughout the week, not just Andy do them all in one night and then him not have time to do his homework. At least Andy got about half of the list done before Zander and his dad got home. Great chapter.
  4. I think it's great that Andy is now in a stable place to live with a family that wants him and it's a loving home instead of the abusive one he left. I understand that the Stevenson's being allowed to have Andy stay in their home is only temporary right now for 90 days while the judge looks into the situation back in Carlsburg. They'll also be looking for his mom and any relatives who would allow Andy to stay with them. I hope that when they lookfor relatives that if they locate Uncle Roy that they take a very long look at his history as every time he's around Andy he wants to molest him which is another issue that Andy has to distance himself from. Monica's already raised 3 children and still has Zander at home and now with Andy she's going to have to change the way she deals with him because of the abuse he's suffered from at the hands of his dad. I'm glad that the truth finally came out and the way that it happened, especially since Andy was caught by Monica trying to sneak into the barn after finding the school was locked after they all came back from Zander's swim meet out of town. I'm glad that Monica found Andy and demanded that he go up to the guest room with the understanding that he tell them the truth about why he was trying to sleep in the barn again. Monica got upset when she saw Zander and Andy in the same bed thinking that Zander and Andy were having sex with each other, then after they sat down and talked about the situation she apologized to Andy about it, this was the second time she's had to apologize for her mouth getting the better of her. I hope that they'll be able to get the answers about what happened to Andy's dad and if Andy is a suspect in the death, and also who set off the smoke bombs that allowed Andy to get away. I think it's only going to get better from here on. One things for sure Andy won't have to sleep in the library closet anymore. Great chapter in the story about Stefan and the life he's had since his mother left when he was 8 years old. I know there's still a lot of unanswered questions about Andy's past as well as where his mother went when she left.

    Chapter 76

I love the story and the love that's shared between Mitch and Tony. I think it's great that they have friends like Ivan and Katya, I think Alik will be very excited about meeting Ivan the Russian Bull when they come home with Tony and Mitch. I hope that they'll be able to get married legally in Boston, I hope that their families will be able to join them for the ceremony. The love they have for their friends and family is very strong.

    Scene 34

Although I've never been a hardcore gamer as some people, I have known some who were. I hope that Nessa and Lydia are able to get together soon and talk about different things to see if they are compatible with each other. I hope that Lorant is able to provide Nessa a way to sleep at night without resorting to heavy drugs. This was another great chapter.
  7. I believe that the time Andy and Zander spent together was a good beginning to what may happen in the future. I can't believe that they're both thinking the other is straight. I'm glad that Andy likes going to Zander's swim meets, if nothing else to see him in his skimpy swimming suit. I'm glad that Andy has gotten back to running with Kaz and is doing distance running. I'm glad that Andy's still keeping his word by shoveling the walks and driveways for Mrs Marjorie and the Abbott's as well. I think that Andy and Zander need to be able to be alone so that they can talk about how each of them feels.
  8. Great work on this story and especially this chapter. I think Andy being found in the barn at Zander's house was a miracle in the way that if he'd gone somewhere else it's hard to say if he would have been found. I'm sure that Zander's in 7th heaven with Andy being right in the next room. I wonder if anyone has seen his scars that he has from being beat all the time by his dad. I'm glad that Zander and his parents are willing to have Andy stay in their home after Zander's mom found Andy in the hay that morning. I'm glad that Zander and Andy finally talked about when Andy was taken by Roger green hat. Zander apologized for not talking to him when he started going to classes again, Andy told Zander that he had nothing to apologize for. I hope that Andy doesn't try to get up again and then go to shovel the snow from Mrs Marjorie's house and also the Abbott's house as well. I have a feeling that Zander will go do them as soon as the roads are plowed enough for people can get places. With Christmas right around the corner I wonder if Zander's family will let Andy stay with them until they return to school. The phone call may be a problem for Andy especially if the police are still monitoring it. I think if they are monitoring the phone they'll call the number back and start asking questions about who made the call and then if he's still there. The police will probably come after Andy so that they can question him more about his whereabouts for the time around his dad dying.
  9. I was really scared for Andy for awhile, after Roger found him with, Zander, Kaz and Terry leaving the theater on their way to Denny's. After Roger had Andy out of the sight of his friends Roger puts Andy's face against the driver's side door and then put the gun against the back of his head. Roger then had Andy kneel in front of the bunk in the sleeper compartment of the truck and then hits Andy on the back of his head knocking him out. When Andy came to he was naked with his hands tied together behind his back and his feet tied together as well. I'm so glad that Andy was able to get away from Roger by threatening him with his own gun. Andy's going to have to come out of the closet and start going to classes and then meet up with his friends again and let them know that he's alright. I think he's starting to come unraveled because of everything that he's going on in his life. Another great chapter.
  10. I'm so glad that Andy now has 3 friends who are decent hard working teens like himself. I like the way that the art teacher started giving Andy the 3rd degree about not having the proper number of sketches needed at the time they were in school, Andy finally told him that as the sketchbook is an expensive item and things were tight money wise at home so he was using as few pages as possible while still trying to do the work. The teacher explained that 1st off he was sorry that he was hard on him when they were asked to turn their sketchbooks in to let the teacher have the opportunity to give feedback on on the work up to that point and also because he was forgetting that Andy came to the class late and therefore he didn't know that there was a fund available to the students who need it to receive the sketchbooks at a reduced rate if the order is placed through the teacher. Again Andy was starting to cut himself down instead of listening to the teacher about him being a good student only the teacher wouldn't allow him to do that. Andy needs to learn how to accept praise for the good things he does, that way he's not still believing that he's no good and he was just a good for nothing piece of dirt that nobody wants anything to do with. He needs to be able to accept the praise he deserves and that he is a good person who works very hard at what he's doing. Great writing again.
  11. I want to say I'm sorry that Andy had to sleep outside in the rain with nowhere to go since the school was off limits on Saturday because of the homecoming dance. At least Andy now knows that the lunch boy is Zander and he now has 2 classes with him and Andy's still afraid to say more than a few words to him. I hope that Andy will realize that not everyone is like his dad was, and that he can relax a bit and enjoy his time in Blackburn isn't so bad. He's doing good in school especially since he moved to the advanced class for math and art even though he's still doing the work in the lower art class as the move to this art class was a favor to his math teacher. He's ran into Zander and Kaz twice now when he's gone to the locker room for a shower before school starts for the day. Andy needs to find some courage and try to start making a few friends and then he'd see that people aren't the same everywhere he goes. Andy keeps trying to put himself down and hasn't grasped the idea of getting praise for working hard in everything he does, like working at Mrs Marjorie's house on Saturday and now because of the work ethic that he has, he's picked up another house that needs to be taken care of because the couple have no children to do it for them. I like the reaction Zander got when he got upset when his mom kept saying something about him not going to the homecoming dance and that Terry could probably set him up with a girl to go to the dance with. Zander finally spoke up and said he didn't want to go with any girl to the dance and then he apologized for yelling at his mom and then his dad said maybe there was a boy he wants to go with instead, he broke down then and said that he was gay and he was sorry that he was and asked his parents to not hate him because he was gay. The first one to say anything was his dad and that he wasn't angry with him and that he loved him no matter what his preference is and then his mom said the almost same thing as his dad had. The chapter was written very well, there aren't many parents today that would have the same reaction to Zander being gay as his parents were.
  12. I'm glad that we now have another piece of the puzzle, lunch boy is the swimmer as well as the jogger in the park. I hope that Andy can get out of the school to get to Mrs Marjorie's house and for work. I know that Andy isn't going to be able to stay in the school all the time. I hope that he figures out really quick that he needs somewhere stable to live before someone catches on that he's homeless. Great story I can't wait to read the next chapter.
  13. Another name another town, I hope that he finds somewhere to stay so that he can start school on Monday. Mrs Marjorie sounds like a retired teacher from way back. Andy needs to find a place to live that has running water including hot water, he's going to be spending some of the money he got from working for Eustace on his farm to buy school supplies and some clothes for school. And I'm sure that Mrs Marjorie is going to be expecting him at 9 am on Saturday. I wish him luck as he tries to get everything ready for him to have a place to live for awhile.

    August Escape

Another great chapter even though it was a rough one to read. I hope that Eric will soon be able to settle down somewhere and be able to stay there for longer than he was able to stay at Eustace Whitely's farm. I figured that Ambrose wouldn't let things be he had to keep digging into who Eric really is and then comes up with the idea that he's breaking into homes in the area. I'm glad that Eustace stood up for Eric while Ambrose was the telling him all about how Eric wasn't an Anderson and he wasn't staying with anyone down in Andersonville either, Eustace didn't think Eric was a thief at all.
  15. Butcher56

    Scene 33

Nessa seems to really like playing the game so much so that she's willing to break the rules to play it. She's awake in the middle of the night and so instead of trying to get to sleep she goes to play the game. She's got one housemate that wants to stay as far away as he can, another she's alienated by asking to many personnel questions about her water tank, and another that's really wanting to be right by her side. I hope that things will start turning around for Nessa and that she'll start getting along with all of her housemates.
  16. Eric can do so much better than he is now. Eric can be anything he wants to with his life, he can become better than his father was. He keeps putting himself down saying that he's stupid and a clutz because he was told that a lot by his dad and he got to believe it. I hope that Eric will soon decide what he wants to do when he's done working for Eustace for the summer. I'm hoping that the truth finally comes out about who Eric really is and why he's running for his life. The life guard seems to be getting closer to becoming a regular character in the story. Ambrose's questions about Eric and his family are getting very close to figuring out that he's not Eric Anderson he's actually Stefan Erickson and he's wanted for the murder of his dad. Even if the police believe that Stefan murdered his father, if they read his journal they'll see that when whatever happened to his dad he didn't do it because he was chained to the work bench in the basement. Stefan would've never gotten out of the basement if he hadn't found the key to the shackle lock. I hope that he'll get to stay with Eustace if they find out that he's not Eric. I want to thank you for your ability to write this amazing story.

    Fireworks

Poor Eric he's had a bad rap again in Eustace thinking he was out getting drunk and fighting. I hope that Eric can & will tell Toby why he left without saying goodbye. At least Eric didn't run this time he just headed back to the safety of the barn at Eustace's farm, it shows that he has done so growing in the time he's been at the farm. I know that Eustace likes Eric and feels like he can tell Eric something needs to be done and it gets done. I hope that once Toby learns what happened last night with the redheaded kid he'll go say something to him about how he was wrong for beating Eric the way he did as well as pissing on him all because he was drunk and thought that Eric was encroaching upon his girl. When in fact she never even gave the guy any signs that she even knew he was there. I'm glad that Eustace had Eric go in the house so that Eustace could treat the cut on Eric's face. I'm really enjoying this story Parker, I think it's great that Stefan or Eric whichever you want to call him is writing a journal which if he's ever caught and arrested for the murder of his dad. I'm inclined to believe that the journal will go a long way to clearing him of any charges especially if they have a look at his back and but. Thanks for writing this amazing story. Butch

    Interrogation

I don't know what to think about Toby, Ambrose is another enigma. Ambrose's questions about Eric has him on edge, on one hand the questions just seem to be idle curiosity and then with Ambrose being a detective with the state police, how much was curiosity and how much was gathering information in order to see what he could through a computer search. I'm leary of Toby as he seems a bit more like a stalker, I'm going have to see what happens next between them as Toby asked Eric to go to the fireworks with him. I hope that the offer to shower at his place isn't a ploy just to get Eric alone so he could take advantage of Eric sexually before they go to the fireworks in town. Eustace seems to really like Eric and the fact that he arrives early to work and stays late as well, you definitely don't see that kind of work ethic from most teenagers. I hope that everything works out for Eric. Great work again this story doesn't leave you in suspense for long.

    Chapter 75

Another great chapter. I'm glad that Tony and Mitch made the promise to each other to always talk about how or what they happen to be thinking about. I'm glad that they met Ivan and Katya on this cruise, they seem to get along with each other so well, plus it doesn't hurt that Mitch and Tony speak Russian thanks to Sasha. I know that Tony seems to be thinking about the cancer more and more each day. I know he hasn't gotten a definite diagnosis and won't until they get back from the cruise and he goes back to the Dr.
  20. I'm glad that Eric has found a job and a place to sleep at least for the time being. With him making $250.00/ week he'll be able to save up and buy some things that he needs such as food and clothing even if he does like he always had and go to a thrift store. I'll bet that Mr Whitely figures out really quick that Eric isn't related to the Anderson's down the way, I think that he'll figure out that Eric's sleeping in the loft behind the hay. Mr Whitely is going to get suspicious when Eric keeps showing up in the same clothes. I hope that Eric finds somewhere to wash up and wash his clothes before he gets caught because of the odors from him not bathing. Great chapter, I think it's a great story as well.

    Rescue

I think it's a matter of survival for Eric/Stefan, that's why he keeps moving instead of stopping anywhere for any real amount of time. I'm glad that he came along when he did and was able to save both mother and baby daughter. Even though he's not able to trust anyone, he did the honorable thing by getting the woman and her baby out of the car before it blew up, he used his torn up t-shirt to bandage the wound on the ladies head. As soon as he saw the approaching car he headed back to the weeds where he was when the accident happened, I hate to think about what would have happened if he hadn't been there when he was. He watched as the police, fire department and paramedics did their things dealing with the burning car and the woman and her baby. I think that Stefan really needs some good luck right about now.
  22. Butcher56

    Houghton

I'm glad that Eric/Stefan was able to make a bit of money to get him a few things to tied him over for a bit anyway. Although the town of Houghton seems like a safe place to hide out, I don't think that would be wise. Even though he enjoyed the fireflies and playing ball with Howie even though Howie was better than Eric it was still fun. I think it's in his best interest to keep moving and then hope hopefully some time soon he'll be able to stop running. Then wherever he is someone will take him in and give him a stable place to live along with the safety he craves as well as giving him the love he hasn't had for years since his mother left. Who knows he might even find his mother out there somewhere. One can only hope for the best possible life for Stefan from here on. Great story it does draw you into it the more you read.
  23. Butcher56

    Eric

I'm glad that Stefan/Eric had an opportunity to get a meal or 2, even though he had to work for it. I hope that he can get away before the police find him and he gets arrested for the murder of his father. I'm hoping that his uncle doesn't find him, because I hate to see him get molested by his uncle. That's all he would need on top of the beating that he endured by his dad which left him with severe welts and bruises on his back and rear end.
  24. Butcher56

    Noticed

Stefan has a bad outlook on his life, thinking that if he's reincarnated he'll come back as one of the black bugs everyone steps on. I think Uncle Roy needs to be castrated for getting turned on by an 8 year old boy who's his nephew. I'm glad that Stefan's mom caught on to uncle Roy's game and was able to stop him from molesting Stefan that night, I don't like the fact that his dad was mad at his mom for sticking up for her son. Stefan's mom left due to the abuse she endured at the hands of her husband. Now that she's gone Stefan's the one who gets abused because his mom's gone. I'm glad that Stefan was smart enough to block his door the last time uncle Roy came to visit. Stefan has to not only try to not get beat at home but also at school, he's different so he's an easy target for all of the bullies at school. It's no wonder that he feels that he has to be invisible at school and home. I can understand why Stefan feels the way he does I was bullied in school myself. Great story, thanks for writing it.
  25. Butcher56

    A Journal

Parker I wanted to say that this is a great story about Stefan. I don't like the fact that Stefan is being abused by his dad. The abuse isn't just the physical but mental as well. I hope that Stefan is able to escape from his abusive father and then he can make a few friends.
