He does that job very well.

Yes they do.. oatmeal, overnight muesli, ground, fried.. whatever, oats are your friend.
-
Sounds great. Oats are wonderful things. I often grind oats into flour in the food processor and use that rather than breadcrumbs in various things. I do like the sounds of the fried oat hash however. Yum.

Have a good day.

Haibun from a Distance
Mikiesboy commented on Parker Owens's story chapter in Haibun from a Distance
All four are wonderful. I liked the first ... dogs only want to love us all. Luckily they don't hold it against us when some don't feel the same way. The second ... well i cannot comment on that fool. The third ... is full of nature's bounty and delights. They made me smile. My mom used to like the juncos .. sweet little things. The last ... you have told me about this student before. Though sad, he will be known and remembered. Thank you for reminding me again. -
That's great! I do one but it's a bit different but i can just feel the stress drain away. It's great that it helped !!

Oh, that's a good idea, Sir. i like those simple breathing things, they do calm me.. i can feel my thoughts slow down. It's worth trying it.

Oh, geez. I'm sorry A. Yeah, that happened here. They stopped people from working in more than one home because it was being carried around. I hope you mom is able to stay safe. xoxox

So yesterday afternoon i got a text from my nephew Peter ... Do you think i have anger issues? I said i'm working but i'll call you in 30 ... Only if you want to Uncle tim ... Of course I want to. At 2pm I called ... we spoke for a few minutes ... he said.. BF is on the phone. I said. ok.. talk to your later. Twenty minutes later... My phone rang ... I listen and mouth to my Husband: He's just Sobbing. Michael was on his feet, turning off the TV. "Tell him we are on our way." It's a heartbreaking story ... the rest. We went, we talked, I stayed the night with him .. He's a bit better today.

We are always hardest on ourselves. We forgive nearly everyone anything, but not us. My recent issues had my shrink suggesting several things, mindfulness being among them. He also suggested several self-care apps. I decided to try a couple. Fabulous wasn't ... much asking for money. However, Sanvello is different. It is quiet and peaceful. Lots of things to look at, read and do. They have a phone app and web presence. Both are good. I found them on Google play, they have been around for a number of years. I know there is a premium service but they have yet to ask me to join it. They say they keep most tools free. You may want to give it a try. There are also place to chat on their site and to reach out to others.

Have a good day.

i'm lucky in so many ways. Depression and all its bedfellows are annoying and draining, but i think it's the time it takes that is the worst. We never get those days back. Those days we spend in bed or dully in front of the TV are simply days we breathed. We cannot create or do anything more worthwhile. In those days i am often silent with most people, but with some i am angry. The ones i love the most i push away. i am lucky they are who they are and they know. Thanks for your comments Jeffrey. i appreciate you reading and your comments on this piece. i hope you your family are staying well. xo

Go weed ... i was writing but had a job sitting in the fridge waiting for me. It was on my mind so i got up and did it. Twenty six burger patties are now in the freezer and my mind is my own again. You won't melt if you get a few rain drops ...

No, i walked away after being on the street for a couple of years, after having men do what they wanted to me, including breaking my jaw when i said no to something they wanted me to do. After that i decided that my Father in heaven couldn't be much of a father, if He also allowed these things to happen to his children. Yet, i can remember standing beside my mom and listening to her sing Abide With Me. And the other people greeting us as friends weekly. Those things i remember. Those things are good. The Church ... well all of the man made religions are filled with drones who serve a Master who does not exist. He is a ghost in many forms who has controlled people for many years for the benefit of very few. So many have died in the name of these religions, more continue to, and will today, and sadly tomorrow.
