    Well, as big as Australia is, I should think he'd be able to run into it pretty soon...or at least encounter a ship or fishing boat. Maybe he'll end up in Perth!!! Or is he south of Perth, I don't recall exactly from the map... :wacko:

    Well, that's kind of why I picked him...he's got a rugged look about him as if he'd been at sea for quite some time, he has a strong face and looks like he could command a ship. If you gave him a baby face I would think the crew wouldn't take him as seriously....I wouldn't call him pretty though, not exactly like George Granger was described.

    This guy might make a good Captain George Granger...although maybe he's a bit older.

    I agree, it's an amazing story, but if you don't get that kid out of trouble pretty soon I swear I'll.....!!!!!

    That's true, he is certainly tasty...but my favorite is in the latter part of the series (The Mutiney and Redemption), Redemption being where Hornblower blows up the fort and jump off the cliff with his shipmates. Take a good look at Hornblower just before he jumps...what a crotch shot!!!

    An amazing chapter! I think one of the best you've written, certainly one of the more exciting! If Granger doesn't get a knighthood after this one, I give up!! I really enjoy this story and your writing skills. Quite frankly I don't know how you manage it.
