Thank you Lux. Actually, no. I thought it was amusing that last week many of the reviews asked about Trevor since I've had this chapter finished for about a month now just waiting to post (and while I continually tried to proof read it). For some other parts, it seemed like the natural spot in the process to address them.

Following the upheaval with the Lycan Council, John and his allies were busy assisting the new administration settle in. He tasked Aiden with managing several projects for the Council to assess his abilities and was pleased with the results. Thanks Rbenn. Most likely if it was mentioned to John it would just be in an "oh, by the way" thing. That would be more of a problem for Dorian to handle. Besides, Dorian didn't have too many friends in the Alpha community due to his attitude.

Thanks Centex John would have made a very good council president, but that would have moved Aiden and Ethan up to running the pack much sooner than they need. Even though they are capable, they still need some time to grow together. Karissa taking such an obvious lead role with swearing in the new leader of the council is due to the fact that she has more balls than a lot of her counterparts. She may be a woman in a typically male wolf's role, but she isn't going to back down from anything she believes in.

Thank you Gee. This was originally was supposed to be a 15 or so chapter story, but my slower way of story telling kind of killed that. I've thought several times that I should have broken this into multiple books before now but could wasn't sure along the current line of where an appropriate break would have been. I always had a start and end point in mind and getting from the original point A to point B went a little longer than I thought it would. A break to start a new book is definitely a possibility.

Thank you Buz. John was kind of an obvious choice for President, but I didn't want to take him away from his pack yet. Even with Aiden's drive and Ethan's abilities, they need time before potentially taking over the pack. Aiden kind of left his options open with regards to Sebastien. For the time being, Aiden felt he was the best to have him lead his pack where he could keep an eye on him. Air is the one element that Ethan really hasn't played around with. Water was his first and will probably always be his favorite, next to earth, but eventually he will need to learn them all. I'm with you 100% on standing on a glass floor 62 stories up. I won't even do it 3 stories up.

Thank you ILike. Trevor was a character that I very much wanted when first started writing the story and began to develop him along with Casey. I had taken a long break after I got the first 7 chapters done and when I decided to give it another try at writing he kept slipping through the cracks. I've never seen Avatar or Legend of Kora and they sound like something fun to watch... for research purposes of course

Thank you Lux. Where we go from here is the big question and there are lots of possible directions I see most of the comments for this chapter bring up Trevor. Since I had him off at college, he was someone that essentially got somewhat forgotten. When I wrote the first 20 or so chapters I realized that he had vanished so when I resurrected the story I went back and brought him back to some extent (when he could get home from school). He has also made appearances, albeit small ones during major events like Ethan's first turning, Aiden's rescue and their wedding. With Trevor being Aiden and Casey's best friend, I kind of view it as he would be exchanging calls, texts and emails with his friends but it gets overlooked to include references to any contact like that. Fortunately comments like all of you provide helps me see areas of my writing that could use improvement, so I'm thankful to you all for that.

I think I enjoy seeing these responses as much as you all enjoy new chapter day I really like all the points you make as to why Ethan should be named president. In one week we'll find out who that person is

Thank you LadyDe You have me smiling big time with that comment. If my use of a dramatic pause has improved since the early chapters it is in part due to all of you reading. Since I started this, I've been trying to improve my writing skills for everyone's enjoyment, including mine. For the execution, it was going to be just someone breaking their necks, but I didn't like that. I went back to Ethan doing a mass healing and thought adding Wolfsbane to the mix would do nicely with a touch of ice to finish the job. From your response and others, it worked out better than I thought it would.

Thank you CG Ethan may be the more powerful of the pair, but while he as street smarts, he does lack the experience in the wolf community. As you say, he as the traits of a Luna in wanting to help his pack as well as others.

Thank you Lux. Ethan never put on one of his circus side shows for the Alphas to convince them of what he is, beyond becoming a fireball in front of them, so it served multiple purposes. So far those are just ideas for how to deal with healing a feral. Actual implementation would probably take some changes for safety.

Dorian did make issue of there being a coyote and 'human' the first day, but it hadn't come up since. Dorian and Karissa would probably make a good couple, though I could see her busting his balls to keep him in line He may be an ass, as he described himself, but when he hears a reasonable idea, he is willing to get behind it. There is enough of a traditional wolf to him to want to get past the BS the council was causing everyone. Karissa is a formidable woman that doesn't let the standard of the male Alpha stand in her way to protect others. She could probably put most any of the male Alphas in line if needed The legends about Elementals are spotty at best. No one knows for sure where they come from. Ethan's natural parents weren't, but might have carried some gene. Ethan did pass it on to Aiden, so that also leaves open the possibility that he could pass it on to a child. Ethan is able to work with life in ways of healing people or talking to plants and changing a plant to work or grow how he wants, but there has to already be life there for him to create something. At last that's how I see him working

Thank you CG It kind of makes sense to have former Alphas act as advisors to whoever becomes president of the council. I'm not sure co-presidents would work, but it is an interesting idea. Aiden still hasn't made his final decision regarding Sebastien, so that issue isn't settled. I would guess that his pack is between 30 and 50 people since they did merge with a pack at one time. Forest moon would be a little too far away to merge the two, but it would give a small pack an infusion of new members. If they were to merge with Parker Valley, it would most likely end up as a satellite territory unless the decision was to uproot his pack.

Thank you as always Centex The pacing might be a result of my inexperience as a writer, but I've always just written how it feels right to me for this story. Probably why what I originally blocked out as a 15 chapter story has grown, though at times I wonder if I should have made it multiple books. I agree with all the comments regarding how the council took the news about Ethan and I think I dropped the ball on that section. I meant to go back and fix that and I think I sacrificed it because of how long the chapter was getting. I also kind of viewed it as they had already seen him burst into flames and had a day to adjust to the idea. If I ever do a re-write of this, that will be fixed (maybe even without a major re-write). To go from knowing that there is no cure for a feral to being told that someone has the ability to cure them could be more difficult to accept than the fact that Ethan can turn himself into a fireball and there is also a stigma attached to ferals.
