Considering Randy was fearful he'd be killed when he commented on going public with what he was told, it's doubtful they'd need to keep watch over him. If he was determined to tell someone what he knows, thanks to the internet there wouldn't be much anyone could do to stop him. It would still likely get him a three day mental health evaluation in a padded room. As long as Randy isn't publicly questioning who among the population are human or wolf, there wouldn't be much point in telling the pack. Since he needs time to come to terms with what he now knows, the last thing they'd probably want is a random lycan he already knows approaching him to chat about it.
Ethan would be able to talk about his initial shock, even if it didn't last all that long. The most valuable information would likely be on the human to lycan turning process. Of course, Ethan was turned and mated at the same time, so a little more that the simple bite it would require for Randy.
