There's a point where you have to hit rock bottom at which point there's two choices: start filling in the grave you dug or accept help from the person with the ladder.
Thank you, Raven. Having grown up with the friends he has, he's exceptionally comfortable with himself. He talked to his wolf about Shannon and the wolf knew they'd never imprint. Trevor has had many, many offers from men and turned them all down. With the exception of anytime he visited a gloryhole on campus. The discussion with Thad and Wade adds to his knowledge of how couples meet and bond.
Thank you, Sword. I've tried to always tie each story together somehow. While they can stand on their own, they are all one in a way.
The software was something he and a friend wrote for classes they each had. Trevor is smart and it shows by what the program can do.
Thank you, Albert. At his introduction, it wasn't clear if he even had a soul since Michael owned him. It kind of surprised me writing this that he did have one after all.
Thank you, Albert. I've tried to improve with each new story as I learn more about how to write. I wasn't sure this journal style would work, but the readers enjoyed it.
Thank you so much, Astone. I was apprehensive about writing this so I can understand about reading it. I wasn't sure I could make my time in Australia interesting even if I changed the people I worked with into lycan. Using all that as a foundation, plus some gentle nudging from my husband and a South Florida Daddy type who rumor has it is an incredible author on his own, I guess I pulled it off.
Hopefully any more adventures of Brandon don't involve flames.
That reaction definitely has me smiling, Astone. As soon as Brandon realized Thorin had set up Dainen he became protective of him. Getting to know him while cuddling added to that, and again following the video call with his husband. He knew how he could protect Dain while also comforting him during a scary exchange. Maybe that punishment he won't enjoy will be your earlier suggestion of a floor covered with Legos and no shoes.
Thank you so much, Albert. You've made me smile throughout with your comments and reactions. I'm grateful to you for reading and happy you enjoyed it so much.
Thank you, Albert. This chapter is in my top five for favorites. In a way it foreshadowed meeting my husband's family, minus me being able to turn into a wolf in front of them.
Thank you, Albert. I enjoyed writing the wedding and I based if off the only type I knew. After reading some like the one done by @Carlos Hazdayin his CJ series, I might have gone more playful instead of so traditional. Still, I'm happy with it and for these two guys, I think it happened just as it was suppose to.
Thank you, VBlew. I guess I have tended to have my characters meet their mate. Multiples in the first book. Two couples in the second. Dorian and Karissa in the third. Everyone was already mated in Embers, but Brandon did have a lot of fun with Dainen, but anything further would have needed Brandon's husband meeting the Aussie in person. I never thought of myself as a romantic or romance writer, but I suppose I am.
All this is possible, or she could just be a school mate who's good in bed and bad in some other social situations, not that I'll admit to anything. It should be fun finding out. (breaks out his evil laugh)
I do enjoy speculation. Yours is quite good, Backwoods. Of course I won't confirm or deny anything at this point. Trevor tends to have a lot of human/lycan interactions based on where he goes to school, so that part is nothing new for him. He's also equal opportunity when it comes to getting laid; doesn't matter if she's human or shifter as long as his dick gets buried in something. As far as the rest, would I do something like that? 😇
I'm sure Trevor will have fun since there's a whole new set of women and he's fresh meat in a small community. It will definitely be a good learning environment for him with experience he'd never get in the classroom. With luck, he will manage to help recover some of what was taken. As far as how he'd get credit for his MBA, the pack runs like a company. Their central office is Pit River Industries and the various pack owned companies operate under the main corporate entity. For all practical human purposes, he's working for an accounting firm over the summer.
Yeah, that was a nice, juicy piece of meat. I'm sure Trevor could gain a lot of useful experience working with you. And he might even get laid in the process. Maybe that should be the plan for when he graduates.
