Since when do we have 40 degree C summers in sydney? we have a freak one or too days that nearly hit it but certainly not this summer- its been bucketing!

I haven't seen it yet but it seems very similar to Lord Of The Rings ... but the heroes aren't 4 foot tall and therefore I predict there will be a hell of a lot of slash fanfiction emerging about this movie.

For some reason this answer satisfies me. Maybe its because James' icon is really serious-looking and as a result I regard everything he writes as being possessive of wisdom.

oops hyperbole got the better of me. I didn't really mean thousands upon thousands each. I was implying that if we emailed him/her individually, explaining why plagiarism is wrong it would probably be quite alot of emails, considering the size of Dom's fanbase. I didn't however take into consideration the fact that it might be a fake address. Does fanfiction.net have an activation code sent to the email address thing? Anyway, all the points are moot since the account has been frozen

Hm I completely didn't think of a death notification thing. I'm putting one on my desktop although there won't be many names in it. News spreads fast in my 'community'. Still when authors stop posting for a while I get nervous and jump to conclusions.

I was just thinking: this is the internet, one day an author or reader might stop posting and we'll never know what happened to them. We need to work out a way to know. How?

I was trying to post some malicious comment in the review section and report abuse but I also got the ERROR notice. How irritating. I think/hope that the ones there are enough to get it taken off immediately!

YES! I completely understand you! I've got that right now with my sporadically estranged mother. Its the worst because you know you have a right to be angry at them for attempting to manipulate you but if you relay the situation to them or someone else who isn't in your situation you seem like you're in the wrong. At least thats what I get. Anyway, I hope they stop their manipulation streak. O and have a nice blizzard.

The boy needs lessons. I feel embarrassed on behalf on everyone present at that moment. However, "you have a nice smile" is clearly a compliment because it means, as well as finding her physically attractive he likes her disposition.

Oooh manipulative! Seems highly appropriate for dealing with evil evil Evil T. Bitchy-girl-situations often end in success when the lead evil-doer is humilated. Evil T will surely be ostracized! The story of The Homophobic Relative somehow continues to become more and more intriguing.

That's what goes through my mind evertime I watch it! I very much doubt I could sit through an episode of Angel/Buffy without that... hope....trust in the fair and kind judgment of a higher script writer. Also I agree that politics should be kept seperate from tragedies. I in no way associate myself with political opinion or discussion but I do feel for those who were affected by 9/11... all the way from Australia.

Same thing happened to me so i just went over to the guys house and he was like "I didn't think you'd actually come" and i just told him "i said i would so i did." Perfectly hidden embarasment. Got him to stop telling little white lies. I also can't stand it when people don't make their intentions clear.

I think we all kind of worry when you don't post or write for a few days. I know I do. Hope your fever has gone and hope you feel beter in general. Get well soon. Oh and for the parrot situation... maybe you could "by mistake" trip the owner of the bird and cause them to swear in front of it. Bird repeats. Its their fault....
