  1. Damnit! They're on private. I could just call them but that defeats the purpose of secretive FB lurking p.s. what does 'AFAIK' stand for?
  2. On facebook can you see when someone was last online? How? I'm not facebook stalking just waiting for an accepted friend request and checking every 5 seconds and yeh... facebook stalking.
  3. wow.. the number of posts astounds me (+1 more)

    Hey

Yay! Welcome back! Nice to know you're still alive.
  5. Physically I'd like to be 17 forever but I'd like to be early 30s otherwise (Career, kids, marriage... all hopefully)
  6. Happy Birthday Sharon!!!!!
  7. But I'm sure you're not really counting on it... People say "you gotta die of something" but noone wants to die like that. I've witnessed it and it is definitely not something you should count on. It may seem like a fun way to respond but in the end wit won't keep you alive. Quitting may be hard but not quitting is harder.
  8. If younger people are 'close-minded' about these things then I have to say I'd take being close-minded about tobacco anyday over lung cancer and the myriad of ailments caused by smoking. I don't and will never smoke. I hate to be in the same room with smokers. I also feel compelled to mention that I find it completely inconsiderate for people to continue to smoke around non-smokers (or smokers) if they have been politely asked not to. You can kill yourself but don't kill the rest of us. I don't feel strongly about this at all...
  9. That's very possible. Now I'm absolutely terrified for the real cliffhangers to start again
  10. Happy Birthday!!
  11. And then, in reference to the whole facial structure conversation going on: in the end you do have to admit that a lot (perhaps not a lot but definitely a few) of gay guys are distinguishable because of their facial structures (high cheekbones, occassionally long eyelashes etc.) It is obviously not all but definitely a few.
  12. You really ought to Rol-and Barthe yourself in anti-sarcasm rather than wearing a Lyotard of cynicism.
  13. Lol I was kidding before at least. Besides, no degrees here- I just finished school.
  14. Thanks for the rehash! Now I'm kinda guessing that an unplanned freak explosion will happen in Aus, FICTIONALLY!! Nah, I'm a Sydney-sider not a Brisbanian/Brisbanite... Don't know which one of us is closer because geography has never really been my strong point  You don't know Tiger's eye? wow. That's like the best stone ever. Aussie Opals (<-- not the basketball team) pale in comparison especially for male rockstar jewelry Oh and on another note, what's this about no cliffhanger?! I felt the cliffhanger right down to my bones! How could everyone else ignore it. Sigh. Men...
  15. And then, without pulling out Derrida to get technical, heterosexuality doesn't even exist without homosexuality so 'being gay' can therefore not means anything to anyone, other than not being straight just as being straight can't mean anything to anyone other than not being gay Obviously postmodernism is flawed.
  16. That was the evilest cliffhanger yet! OMG! The crown is now superglued to CJ's head! ...... I have a confession to make.......................... I don't read the Dimitri storyline .... I scan it but a SERIOUSLY SHORT scan/non-read. I hope I haven't missed much. I see 'nuclear this and nuclear that' and am assuming that there will be an explosion at the concert in aus (since when to people make bombs here? ). Have I missed a whole lot by not really reading that part?
  17. I voted kevin but looking at all the responses in this thread I'm thinking about reconsidering...
  18. Its so sweet! Now i have Zorba the Greek stuck in my head though!
  19. Best wishes to Codey's Gramps, Tim and of course, Codey, wherever he may be now. He left behind some of the most beautiful poetry and prose and I'm sure he will be dearly missed now that he is gone.
  20. I always find these kind of studies interesting. I'm don't have an extreme opinion about it but I do think that all genetic research should be allowed and encouraged. What annoys me is the guy criticizing the study for being 'pro-gay' and therefore 'biased' when clearly his study was funded by the most extreme of all extreme anti-gay organisations- Exodus. Hypocrisy to the max. Grrrr
  21. Damn being in another continent! lol Have lots of fun everyone and have a review ready to post on the forums about the awesome meeting. Now that i think about it, it'd look hilarious for onlookers- the range of people (ages and what have you) attending.
  22. Care to share your Secret Scone Recipe (SSR)? I've been look for a good one for quite some time...
  23. oo how fun! like finding money in an old pair of jeans I'm celebrating finishing exams which marks the end of school FOREVER for me (except uni)... 5 weeks until I find out how I went...
  24. Happy Birthday!!!!!
  25. 'My Own Private Idaho'? Its neutral but it might be a bit depressing... Gosh with my extensive list of viewed gay-themed movies you'd think i'd come up with more. I think 'Adam and Steve' would be funny to a wide range of audiences but its definitely gay-focused. hmmmm
