  1. Two words: Chapter 17 Did Eric ever apologize for that day? Did he even think about what he had done? Would apologies and remorse actually make any difference? As clueless as David is about himself, he's sometimes really good at reading people. Something about Eric seems off to him.
  2. I think I'm getting warmer on 'Rain. http://www.modelmayhem.com/3729098
  3. Not just Preston! Both Cory and Efrain found him attractive (Cory did kinda throw himself at Indie). Though to be fair, there is a huge difference between how others see Indie and how Indie sees himself, which may be what you've picked up on. The first Cory was kinda basic. I found a much better model for his body, but some of the pics are NSFW. Tastefully NSFW, but still NSFW.
  4. Finally, Indie. I think he's a combo of these two: http://www.modelmayhem.com/3814067 http://www.modelmayhem.com/3251787
  5. Efrain was harder to find. No one had his attitude. This guy is kinda close: http://www.modelmayhem.com/3591367
  6. Now, Cory http://www.modelmayhem.com/3822449 or this guy http://www.modelmayhem.com/3816644 I was thinking the second guy's attitude and prettiness, softened by the other two.
  7. So...I found out about this website - modelmayhem.com - that lets you browse for models and whatnot. I've been playing around with it and looking for character look-a-likes. Here goes...Preston I'm stuck between these three: http://www.modelmayhem.com/3359166 http://www.modelmayhem.com/3275811 http://www.modelmayhem.com/3161572
  8. "Casual sex and casual affection." Both of them are pretty much convinced that their connection is just sex at this point; it may take awhile for them to pull their heads out of their asses. As for Preston taking Indie - I don't know just yet. Indie takes pleasure in giving pleasure, Preston gives by taking. As hot as it would be, I don't know if it would fit their characters. But, of course, this could be my own preconceived notions. I've been writing ExC since September, and I'm still trying to work my head around Efrain and Cory switching roles. I mean, so far the only thing I've been able to work myself up to was a finger. I will admit, it didn't occur to me that Preston's refusal to pull punches would appeal to Indie rather than scare him.
  9. The husband has been asking me since November if I have an idea of when I might start wrapping this up (I think he wants his spouse back >.>), but there's just too many things to do in their world!
  10. Indie's tub was based on one my grams used to have. Not as deep and impressive, and for some reason everything was covered in carpet, but mirrors for days.
  11. Actually, 'Rain borrowed the name from Indie. We'll spend more time with the others families soon. There will be more with the Cards, and Indie's dad's crew. However, I need to work in Molly Jones (Indie's mother), and Grandpa and Grandma Finnegan. Also, Kent and Ellie would pitch a fit if we didn't spend time with the Turners. There are a few explanations (though, not excuses) for why Preston is so spoiled, which will come out as he and Indie get to know each other. However, he isn't as spoiled as Kent and Ellie believe. He is much older than his half-siblings, so he would have more privileges. His father's family dotes on him quite a bit, but they dote on Kent and Ellie just as much. As for Indie's family situation - his father's involvement in his life is mostly monetary. He paid his child support and alimony faithfully, and still pays off Indie's credit card every month (grad students get fuck all for pay). Other than that, Andre Norman, and by extension Claire, doesn't bother with his own son. Indie is really close to his mother, which makes it pretty worrying that he ditched her on Thanksgiving.
  12. Chapter 17 – Mirror, Spice, Flow Part I – Fuck-a-thon, Redux I stood up on the couch and slipped over the back. A move that didn’t go over so well with the siblings. “Mooooooooooooooooom!” “Preston’s jumping on the furniture again!” “Aren’t you guys too old to tattle?” I taunted. Mom’s melodramatic sigh followed me as I bolted out of the room. “Why does he get to run in the house?” my little sister whined and my baby brother echoed. As I raced up the stairs, I heard my step-dad and mom
  13. Here's something that has been bothering me. Back when Toby talked about the friend he'd been caught fooling around with, something he said stuck out. Toby said the friend accused him of coming up with all the sexual things they'd been doing, which Toby firmly denied. Yet, in Si and Toby's sexual experimenting, it was always Toby who came up with the crackpot ideas (shaving, dying their pubic hair, tying each other up, etc). Si either went along with it, to Toby cajoled him into doing it. But, I'm sure that if asked, Toby would say the same things about Si. It sounds like a pattern of behavior. I'm not saying that Toby was being malicious. He may be incapable of recognizing that what he's doing is wrong. Or he doesn't understand personal boundaries. Or he could just be a kid who never really processed the trauma surrounding his precocious sexual debut.
  14. Almost 4k words in, and three scenes are incomplete, so the wait shouldn't be as long. I sometimes think about going back to shorter chapters (dividing scenes up, not cutting down on prose), so I can put out releases more frequently. But I've realized things get better if I give them more time to work themselves out. I promise, it'll be worth the wait.

    Chapter 11

As an English teacher, I'm downright offended by Wentworth's "teaching" methods. It makes me almost as stabby as the teachers at Casey's old school (his mother included!!!!). There's a reason why so many college athletes end up doing so poorly in their academic endeavors - well-meaning coaches, teachers, and parents who neglect the "student" part of "student athlete" because they're too occupied with sports. Wentworth's role as coach and mentor is important, but he lets it get in the way of the other things those boys need from him. Yeah, English sounds like a worthless, who-gives-a-damn, class, but language arts happens to be one of those subjects that touch everything else one does in life. #soapbox The English teacher in me is happy that Casey got into another class and would not lose a year of language instruction. Also, Max could teach Wentworth a few things about empowering young people.
  16. Cory did have a rough start with the Garzas. He's already picked up on some differences between his family and Efrain's. And, you know no ones going to let Eric or Juaquin live down that dinner, especially where there's video!
  17. 'Rain has realized way too late that baby sister is becoming a woman. Next time, he's barricading the door.
  18. I think Zoe did us all a solid by trying to pet Kitten.
  19. It's so hard to write chapters in which they don't fool around. Almost like they won't let me rest until they get some.
  20. I think Cory likes when people underestimate him. The higher they are, the harder they fall.
  21. I'll try to not make the wait too long.
  22. Hubby-kins played this for me a couple weeks ago. So haunting and beautiful. TV on the Radio - Red Dress (The Glitch Mob remix)
  23. David's cluelessness is indeed near-criminal, but that is no excuse for this bullshit the adults in his life put him through. I'm wondering who Sam will go to with David's envelope. Fucking with PPF and the woman that lives in his house brought down a world of hurt on David, so Sam would know better than to try that route. Going to the police would cause a shitstorm. Sadly, I think he's going to do what David should have done from the beginning -- take it to David's father. It will break his heart (maybe, how can a man live with such a harpy and still love her...does she have something on him?), but the man and his real family deserve better. We also haven't heard from David's grandfather. That man would throw down some Zeus-worthy righteous fury. All the hell and damnation that PPF preaches, Grandpa could deliver. As for Matty - I disagree with Parker, I think he might be thinking with something other than his naughty bits. Or at least, he's starting to. He realizes a lot of the fun he has with his mini-harem will eventually end and it may be time to think about long term prospects, hell, maybe even emotional intimacy.
  24. Might have to wait a few years, they're kinda underage. But, I doubt they'd turn you down (especially considering how Cory gets when drunk).
