Whelp, there goes what's left of Franz's sanity. All cereal though, I could see Tialing guiding him through the experience and getting him to let go of all his baggage. It's kinda surreal watching the boys develop on their own, completely isolated from each other. I know it's a minute off yet, but for the past few chapters I've been wondering if the boys are gonna build or destroy each other when the gang comes back together.

That's kinda what has me stumped. I don't know why, it just seems like some of the reactions are intentionally off. But then I also read so much on here I could be accidently bleeding through a concept from a different author, like some of the social structure stuff from one of Kbois stories.

Good point. Maybe it's something with territory? If they are out of their own territory, they wouldn't have political back up. Which is weird though, I don't know if it's an i missed something oops or an author ooops. The island is described as not being their territory, but at the same time it's portrayed as their property. Either way it makes a fun puzzle to ponder.

So many questions. 😭😭 I'm glad to know you have more short stories planned. Funny thing is, most of my questions have nothing to do with the characters. Like what is life for humans like with the orcs? The shaman made it sound like men have been in Karl's position before, nothing left but the woman who was selected/taken/claimed. Do the orcs have a precedent of offering those men sanctuary? Or is Karl unique and the first? What of the voidbeasts? What are they like? The orcs have shamans AND priests .... are they conflicting factions? What is the social hierarchy? The way you describe things it's almost like something may or may not be behind the void beasts. Like don't get me wrong, I love the vagueness about the world and culture. At the same time my brain can't help begging for more info. Feel free to send me to the doghouse for being a pain, but I do hope that as more stories and chapters are written we are only given hints and clues about all that kind of stuff. Yes i'm a glutton for torture.

Well I expected the family to not register the difference between family and slave except when it comes to punishment. So Alice and Frank not realizing what they were putting Dante through was expected. I was expecting you to keep Frank in a coma for another chapter or two. That and the women of the house to be fully unified, with Alice having to fight for her authority with ne security what so ever. And then both Dante and Blaise being disappeared and the women attempting to stuff things under the rug. Granted i'm sure if I took the time to catch up on the extra scenes section I might not have been so caught off guard. I love that you do that by the way, having the extra scenes that are not a direct part of the story line. It's a great way to answer people questions with out distracting from the main piece.
