I've been wondering about that part of it. I mean yeah, George has been supportive and voices he's been wanting to make those kinds of changes himself. I can't help but wonder if we're gonna end up with waring factions. George and others have had the authority to make these changes themselves for how long? I've been wondering for the past few chapters if Greg is gonna realize and be able to build a military in time if it's needed.

That is a lot to be presenting when court is held. I do wonder what are the chances of a revolt coming. Granted there is also how many vampire lives he's already improved drastically with out changing any laws. It's going to be interesting to see how that all plays out and how far people are willing to bend and change compared to what they're being given.

Made me choke on my coffee. Waiting for this chapter to start with a heart wrench, but no, tis only a flesh wound. Now I have to clean up spilled coffee and read the rest of the chapter. Evil start, I love it.

As much as I love it, I don't think we're gonna get lucky. The artist is doing amazing with the psychology of it. It is possible for an extra personality to merge with the primary and create a scenario where they are now both driving permanently. But then you throw in all the subliminal and triggers, and that is one heck of a wild card. There are so many things that could happen, from more personalities being created, to all the triggers/code words/orders being permanently deleted, to the body getting stuck with Caleb being stuck in combat mode until the body expires. And of course my brain won't shut off on the case study that could be done if Josh/Caleb was a real person.

Greg is definitely one of my favorite characters. I give him 3 dog houses and a shock collar. The layers that make up Greg, I think in the end the family is going to know everything he knows. It was pretty clear in earlier chapters, that no matter how classified if it pertains to the family the family knows. It helps that the family has proven they can keep their traps shut. Plus Walter didn't really say much that the family didn't already know. Not gonna lie, i'm waiting for one hell of a conversation between Greg and Caleb. The fact that Caleb reached a hand out to the family himself is what really has me on edge for the next book.

This is one of the best page turners I've ever read. I'm jealous of anyone who is just now starting with chapter one. The descriptions and flow of the story are amazingly balanced. They create great images, and suspense you can taste until you are able to read the next chapter. A wonderfull masterpiece from a great artist.

Well that's a heart break and happy tears. Get to the dog house, how dare you pull heart strings. Damn near surprised me with the ending of the chapter. All cereal, impressive weaving as always. I was a little off with where I thought Zal was going, I honestly thought you were gonna have Renn and Zal pass each other on a road or boat and Zal not be able to do anything for one reason or another. I definitely found your direction more enjoyable than my prediction.

I imagine a mix between old stone basement and a library. That's my guess anyway. I'm gonna have to reread though, cause I think that point got mentioned earlier in passing when they met Alex. I just don't remember if it was in the story or in the comments 😭😭😭

Right. I wanna know what it is 😭😭😭 It doesn't help that our dear Lupus ties stories into other stories into other plots more delicately and intricately than Stephen Kings attempt at a mass legacy. Way too many questions that I can't divine the answers to. *insert mock angry face here*
