  1. Hey, Albert. How's you and Steve? Hey, Bumble B. Hope you feel better, Dugh. Sending gentle. for you. *scratches Thistle on his belly* Hey, Bobber. Hey, Marty! Hey, Spikey.
  2. Methinks it might be a little extreme to fire a glitter nuke just because of some silly teasing.
  3. Hey, Drewberry Pi! What was that for?! Yeah, Mickey, Remy, and Rory are watching The Rainbow Tribe on DVD right now. We went swimming earlier today, which was refreshing.
  4. Everything went well with the kayaking trip. The boys got home just as Morgan was pulling the ribs off the grill. Letting the ribs rest before carving gave the boys just enough time to change into dry clothes before dinner. Then we went to see the late air show at Clinch Park. Glad to hear that the girls had fun, too.
  5. Hey, Clo. Hey, Marty. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! Nope, nothing wrong at all! Native American boys are always beautiful. The tribes in Traverse City have their own schools, so we didn't have many Native kids in the public school district, but I couldn't take my eyes off of them.
  6. The Chippewa have a legend, regarding a young man named Pukawiss. His father was a human chieftain, but his mother was a forest spirit. He wouldn't hunt, swim, run in footraces, or do any other "manly" things. He just liked to watch the animals in their natural surroundings. His father ignored him in favor of his younger brother, Maudjee-kawiss. Pukawiss eventually taught his tribe how to dance, based on the movements of the animals he had observed. Later, he gave up his home and became a permanent wanderer, travelling to share his knowledge with the other tribes.
  7. I saw some Chippewa people wearing their regalia today. I couldn't believe anyone would wear something like that on such a hot day (81/27), but they seemed like they were comfortable. I didn't have a camera with me, but here's an example:
  8. Or maybe "turtleneck" would've been a more accurate term.
  9. I prefer a man who wears a bishop's miter.
  10. Mickey and Remy explained to Rory that they sometimes like to go sans clothing when they take their kayaks out on the water. After getting the green light from his parents, he apparently wasted no time taking his swimsuit off. The four boys are at the S. B. D. National Lakeshore now. They'll miss the early jet plane show, but there will be another performance later. The Thunderbirds are in town this year. Kilting? YAY! Afternoon, Dugh and Thistle. Give my regards to Mum. Hey, Bertie, you gorgeous sailor. Hey, Bobber. How are Randy and Kyle faring? Hey, Gary.
  11. Is it a clothing optional beach? 😀
  12. I'm not sure they'll be kayaking nekkid again. At least, maybe not with Rory around. And I'll pass along the sentiment. Tomorrow, we're having ribs with Carolina BBQ sauce, Mexican street corn, roasted fingerling potatoes, and peanut butter-Rice Krispies ice cream sandwiches.
  13. Yeah. Mickey and Remy are going to take Rory (their new little buddy) and Sean (Mickey's cousin) kayaking tomorrow. Then we're going to have a barbecue for dinner.
  14. Anyone else sense the irony?
  15. Hey, Drewberry Pi! What's new?
  16. We're doing great, thanks for asking.
  17. I agree that everyone needs glitter. But not in such massive quantities.
  18. *steals the nuclear launch key and drops it in the Marianas Trench*
  19. *rescues Bob and places him in Witness Protection*
  20. Hey, Texas Cutie.
  21. So is this one. It's soooo funny and cute!
