Happy to be able to offer you a surprise! I am at work now on the Halloween story, so that one is coming along, too. And you are exactly right. The events of this story are happening at about the same time that Charlie and the others were into their last adventure. Oh, sure. Everyone uses stars to build things. Someone built an entire universe out of them!

My friend, listening to your ideas is almost as fun as writing these stories! No spoilers from me. But I do want to do a few more of these 'side' stories with friends of Charlie and Kip who don't get to appear as regularly in every Charlie Boone adventure. So...stay tuned!

MOST attorneys HAVE two mouths. It's where they keep their forked tongues! Microwaving is a 'form' of cooking most bachelors know well. Back when I was in college, I could push buttons with the best of them! I'm sure if you ask Kontus VERY nicely, he will make you some rrretachuf!

Even current astronomy can easily model the movements of the stars backwards and ahead thousands, and even millions of years. Computers make it easy. Knowing about the time that the Hartonin were active would allow Illia to easily produce varied maps that would show the current positions of everything relative to their locations 25,000 years past. I'd have to look back through this chapter, but it's possible I did not mention the time frame YET. But I will in the next chapter, I'm pretty sure. Oops.

Speaking two languages fairly fluently, myself, and a few others well enough to make the locals mad, I can testify to the fact that even known, 'living' languages can be trying. Dead ones can be total mysteries, until one person makes a connection. Champollion, and the Stone of Rasheed (Rosetta), for instance, revealing the mysteries of classical Egyptian hieroglyphs. The story of the Navaho and how they completely baffled Japanese codebreakers is really a fascinating example of a language 'wall' stumping even the experts. The Japanese simply had no clue at all what they were hearing. In this case, I can't say the Tower of Nabakeah was lost by those that produced it. It simply hasn't been found yet by those seeking it! 😁

A story set in the Charlie Boone universe. When not being a part of Charlie’s own adventures, Pacha, Mike, Bobby, and Kontus are off on quests of their own. The scholarly Pacha’ka is a wonder at deciphering the clues that lead to the hidden remains of long-vanished galactic civilizations. Mike, Bobby, and their Trichani friend, Kontus, love being a part of those explorations. This time, the four are on the trail of a lost place of the ancient Hartonin. They set out to follow those clues, and quickly find themselves off on a totally unexpected chase across time, involving the most interesting artifact they have encountered yet!

It seems weird to join in on a conversation about myself. Seems improper. But I just wanted to say I appreciate the very nice comments. Writing is fun all on its own, but it really feels good when it's enjoyed in any way by others!
