Sigh. This is not a complex story. It's pretty tough to fool readers these days, let alone other writers. If you get to the end and are still smiling, I'll be satisfied!

They say everyone has a true doppleganger, an exact duplicate. But the truth is that there are familiar face types, and it's easy to see someone and think you've seen them before. Huh? I thought everyone met in catacombs these days!

I think that everyone at one time or another has heard a noise, or sensed something odd, leading to the sudden, weird feeling that someone was in the house. This usually prompts a walk-around, and the discovery that no one is there. I've had this happen myself. Our imaginations are one of the best parts of being human, but sometimes they can run away with us, just a little.

Haha. I didn't really intend this to be a mystery! This is a love story with clues. I have always enjoyed mysteries, especially the older ones. And I've always enjoyed love stories, as long as the guy gets the guy. Or the girl, if it comes down to it!

In the morning, the first thing we did was go on granddad's laptop and find some cameras to buy. The four we bought were small, unobtrusive, that ran on batteries and could be placed just about anywhere. They connected by wi-fi to a small box that plugged into a USB port and which, along with some software that came with the package, managed the streams from each camera, to be recorded on the hard drive. Thank you. The chapters are set to appear at 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, in keeping with GA's policies. Hard to run a mystery on a schedule, but that's the lot we've been given!
